I recently started a game with a big name, Real Madrid. But they need some players brought in and they dont have all that much to bring in the needed players... good back up keeper like Igor Akinfeev will be one of the main targets, any other good players, mainly defenders of DMF's?

Kompany, Gallas & Park Joo Young are all being talked to. Park Joo Young isnt that bad of a player, try for him...

I just scraped through to the last 16, I had to beat Shakthar Donestk,they only needed a draw and within the first half, they get a player sent off, 3-0 up but they get a goal back before half time, second half, Marvin Andrews get sent off, within 10 minutes, it's 3-3. 80th minute me thinking I'm going to the Uefa cup since my team aren't good at come backs, but thanks to Scott Brown, I'm there.

P.S. I have been drawed against Liverpool. :shocking:

For my second season as Tottenham I have had a good start winning 7 of the first 8, the best of them all coming at Liverpool where I won 5-2. Van Persie bagging a hat-trick and Eddie Johnson getting a brace, but still I am 2nd as Arsenal are unbeaten so far this season.

Just carrying on with the Sunderland competition game now in second season, got 25m in the bank and they only gave me 5m to spend, cheapskates.

Bought 11 players on free under 24 years old a great too. Sold 19(including out of contract etc) players for 7m.

At the start off the season my players stats have gone down, does this happen to anyone else?

Yeah, its that cheat training schedule. It only works for a limited amount of time.

They don't train for a period during close season. Then when they initially return, they train part-time.

I'm in the January transfer window now, just signed Eddie Johnson. Had to sign 2 more defenders because my centre backs are playing shite, so I signed Andy Webster from Hearts and Gary Caldwell from Hibs, I think I've done not bad in the transfer market, only having £8 million to spend, and so far I have bought 5 players and still have quite alot of money left over, now I am attempting to sign Denilson.

Anyone attempted getting Ballack when his contract was expiring? I am doing just that, but it's really hard to get him, always refuses to come. Anyone succesfully signed him on a free?

When I managed Celtic, I bought a Hibs full back, Murphy I think his name was... he was good like, try get him, I also bought Caldwell. A good centre half in the game in Scotland are hard to come by so I hope that they perform for you, because when I bought Caldwell he wasnt too good, but in saying that he wasnt too bad either like... all 6's and 7's ratings.

I wouldn't even try it with Rangers.

Anyway, I tried to sign him when I went Chelsea once, he just signed a new deal with Bayern.

Park Joo Young is decent enough, unfortunately i can't sign him because i already have 4 no-EU players. But he is definitely good. A good defensive midfidelder, who can also play as your sweeper, and i have tested him already, ie AEK's Kostas Katsouranis. He is young, hard-working and he is my super sub. I even sometimes replace him with Aimar as the attacking midfielder, he scores! 8 goals i think he has last season. He has 1 now in 8 games. He really is good and is just excellent for a back-up. And i also highly recommend Van den Borre, young, can play as the right back and centre-back. Him and Alex formerly of PSV are so solid at the back, i tend to like their combination even more than the Marchena-Ayala one last season. I highly recommend him. And Kostas.

Better than Patrick Vieira? Maybe the player that most people were talking about in the first few pages of this thread. Dudu Cearanse or Tomas Sivok? They are both reasonably cheap and develop into great players. Can't be too sure though.

I know Dudu Cearense really cheap, I've tried for Tomas Sivok but they reject the bid, and when it's accepted, he doesn't want to come to Scotland.

Yeah, he was happy to come to Aston Villa in my first season - usually mid table Prem teams too from my experience for about 3m.
