Brought in Wayne Routledge, Tomas Sivok, Darijo Srna, Ryan Babel and Benedict Vilakazi all on frees.

Doing great. Already scored a couple of goals for a defensive midfielder and he has kept Jeremy Clement out of the team for most of the games so far. Ryan Babel hasn't been good. Struggles to score goals, if he doesn't improve then I will have to punt him in January and find another striker.

He is a bit inconsistant for me. He has a good game, but then a terrible game. Although if I put him LM he does score quite a few goals. He scored 2 against Totteham.

I know what you mean, but you can normally trust him to put in a 7 or above wherever you put him.

Got beat by Aberdeen and Celtic :mellow: Aberdeen played with 4 up front and I couldn't cope and in the Celtic game that French CB got sent off so I've dropped the knob.

Top of the league though, 3 points clear. I'm hoping a few players have good seasons so I can sell 'em.

Started a game with Perth Glory in the A-League, It's a pretty good game as it's challenging to find decent players that cost under 45k

Signed some good players though, Salah el Din, that Guatamala guy, Figuero or something(sp) they are both class score heaps of goals

go for somebody like Muntari or Diarra. I think you can get them for that much.

Tomas Sivok, Usually less than £5 million and turns into a World Class midfielder.
Freddy Guarin, Usually £1 million and is great for his age.

Yeh, Tomas Sivok. I had him for a short while, had to sell him though, as he was generally un-happy with my managerial skills. . Is Freddy Guarin, the one who plays for Envigado in Columbia, but, was on loan at Boca. (Not sure, whether they bought him).

He always starts their on loan so you can't get him until the end of the 1st season but he is a great player.

I thought so. I started a game with Boca last week, and I had him, I picked him up for £1.3 million half ways through his loan. Quality player. Also, Check out the Argentine U20 team. There's some cracking players there. Jose Sosa for one.

Really happy with this win. Why? Because Palace were 3rd, I was 15th. Dean Bowditch (absaloutely amazing, played 12, scored 5 times and assisted twice.) scored a fabalous bycycle kick, with Alan Lee scoring a goal in the last minutes. After this win I've gone up to 8th, Palace down to 4th.

Almost got relegated with Middlesbrough. :mellow:

Well, I still might - but I've clawed my way out of the relegation zone.

Four games to go - I've got Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Tottenham. How kind the fixture list is. Those teams around me have all got winnable/drawable games, whereas I can guarantee to take only 3 points from those.

Three-quarters of the season was spent playing my reserve team, due to injuries. Mendieta, Boateng, Rochemback, Pogatetz, Tony McMahon, Hasselbaink, Viduka, Queuedrue, Downing, Morrison - all injured for at least 3 months each.

I didn't play Malcolm Christie up-front out of choice, y'know.

Danny Graham has been a revelation, however. Top scorer (even though he only played half a season, in effect), and just scores for fun. Great all-round stats, and I think he's the reason I might stay up.

The fans have apparently put together some sort of clan to get rid of me. :mellow:

I have just started a new game as Juventus with the new update.

I am trying to sell Buffon and Ibrahimovic, I have Ze Roberto, Sol Campbell and Fabien Barthez all negotiating contracts.

I snapped him up on a free and I just missed out on Sol Campbell, to Man Utd.

I started a game with Madrid, using the update that John posted. I had to buy well and saying that the board gave me 700k, I had it all to do. So I sold Raúl, Gravesen and Garcia and signed a few cheap players (Zé Roberto, dos Santos, Albertini, Molina and Sosa) and then I added Heinze & Tuncay. Im only 5 games into the season but Im looking good with big wins so far and Ive conceded 3 goals, scored 17.

I suggest taking a look at Sosa, 20, from Independiente or Estudiantes, he's 20, cultered and has a few 20's in his stats.

I like to have Ze Roberto in my teams, he dosen't have the greatest stats but he always seems to play amazing. When I did a Bayern Munich file he was a reserve player but ended up playing quite a bit, he won European Midfielder of the Year and came 2nd in the World Player of the year.
