Started 2 new games, one with United and one with Fulham. The one with Fulham isn't going too bad, Im in 14th place out of 12 games. The main reason I started this one is to completely re-build a team like Fulham, selling players with low morale or players who would typically get me money ( Papa Bouba Dioup has gone :huh: ), and then to re-generate a completely new Fulham team. So far I've bought 7 players, them players being, Billy Jones, Mikael Forssell, Dean Whitehead, David Nugent, Anthony Vanden Borre and Ashley Young. Jones has been class as he always is on FM07, Whitehead hasn't been bad, Forssell's gotten 3 goals to his name after 5 matches, and If I'm being completely honest, Ashley Young's been shite.

Then to my other Manchester United game, the one I play the most. I'm doing good, I was first, but lost to Everton 1-0 after 'believing' in Zieler ( 17 year old Goalkeeper :huh: ), as VDS and Kuszczak were both injured. I've bought Stephan Appiah, Anthony Vanden Borre, Billy Jones, Okaka and Higuain ( Who was on loan to Charlton... and is now on loan to Sheff. Wed :\.. gives him some English experience ). Okaka hasn't been too bad, scoring 2 this season, although his performances mostly always higher then a 7. My top goalscorer though is Alan Smith, scoring no less then 8 goals in 10 matches ( I've played 17 matches in the League ). Rooney is a close second, with 6 goals. I can't seem to beat AS Roma in the Champions League, I was dominated in possesion terms in the First game, whilst they grab 2 goals, with Smithy scoring a late goal to make the score 2-1. And then in the second game against them, I completely dominated possesion. Scoring 2 offside goals through Okaka twice. Roma scored just before half time through Francesco Totti, and Smithy equalised in the 87th minute with a header.

So things are going well for me in both games really, I just need to snap up a few more players in the Fulham game, whilst hopefully winning the League on my United game.

Yes it was quite fun last time round Dan, just a pity that most people gave up. We were Sunderland, am I correct? I'm sure I or someone else created a specific thread for these challengers, I'll look it up mate.

Download all the tactics you want, cheat by knowing whatever players.......but it'll be no use whatsoever if the team chosen are a very small one in an obscure league where chances are none of us even know the players. Hungary would be a good example.

I've never started in Germany, France or Portugal.

I don't like the ideo of in starting in the conference or whatever, these take too long to get into.
