Roberto Soldado has 17 goals this season for me on Werder Bremen, he's originally from Real, I don't know how much he costs tho, i think its fairly cheap.

I've recently got this game and it's very good. This is my first manager game I've really attempted on the PC and I'm loving it despite myself being shite. Thought I'd start off as United, however the players lack of morale is damaging the team's performance badly. There must be about 6 important players with poor morale, anyone got any tips for me to boost this ?

Just praise them in team talks, or offer them new contracts sometimes, or the obivous one, win games

The main reason is because you're an unknown manager at present and they lack confidence in you. Results are the only sure-fire way to turn this around at the start although teamtalks help.

Arsenal beat Man U on penalties for a playoff for 4th as they were equal on goal difference

Chelsea just smashed Leverkusn 7 - 0 in the UEFA Cup final :huh:

Am in the CL final through against Barca after beating Inter 4 - 3 in the semi's lost 2 - 0 in Italy before smashing them 4 - 1 at Anfield, but Gerrard has been ruled out of the final throught injury, he's missed nearly 4 months through injury :huh:

I am new to this game as well and in my first season with Werder Bremen we did terrible and just barely avoided relegation.

This led to many of my stars becoming upset, Klose, Frings, Diego, Borowski, and Zidan were too upset to carry on so I sold them for about 85 million combined.

I then went out and re-stocked completely and with 4 games left in season 2 I am in third place, playing great football.

I'm at a crossroads.

I finished 3rd in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen after the second season and USA offered me their coaching job...it's two years away from the cup but I think it would be fun to be in charge of the team for this run, anyone have any suggestions?

If anyone know a good CF who score and score goals, please tell me. Oh, I only have 7.5M to spend, so have to be a cheap CF.

Try Mido from Tottenham or Zalayeta from Juve. Aaron Hunt is always transfer listed, he's young and have some good skils. He plays for Werder Bremen.

I started without a club and a club called Créteil from the french second div approached me b4 the start of the season and i accepted. they gave me a one year contract. the main objective was to keep the team away from relegation. the pre season expectation was that i'll finish 11th. 22 games into the season and iam 2nd in the table. it is quite exiting and un predictable there is only 15 points seperating the bottom of the table from the top, everything could change in the matter of three or four games.
one other thing my team's financial situation is shit, the balance is $-2.5m and i cant renew my players contracts bcuz the board only allows me to give the players $1000 pw. they want me to get rid of players and its impossible to do that in this game.

anyone has an idea on a way to sell players without actuall releasing them on a fee? i tried offering them to other clubs but it i always get no interest shown ..

Dunno, they have some great players in their squad and their value will go down as they are in the Championship, might nick a few off them

Update:

i'm actually managing both USA and Werder Bremen right now...VERY INTENSE, but i've found a groove and am doing a tremendous job.

Aaron Hunt was crap for me at Werder.

I won the CL final 5 - 4 on pens against Barca, both teams had 7 penalties, Agger scored the winning penalty.

I took the lead in the 19th minute thanks to Sissoko who scored a deflacted shot, then Messi equailzer with a shot form a narrow angle and Reina parried into the net, then Ronaldinho scored a pen after Carragher pushed Ronaldinho down in the box, then Gonzalez scored the equalizer thanks to his head, Valdes came out missed it and Gonzalez headed it in.

Same here, i am new to this game aswell.
I started as brighton and i am doing great. I have had 3 friendlys won two (against Barnet and Wigan Athletic) and drew one against Man utd.
I havn't started the season yet, but im looking forward to it!
I think i will struggle.

Got offered Aussie job, accpected but then resigned lol, it stuffed up my Liverpool game, couldn't view board room etc. If I get offered it again I'll do it, just want to contiune with Pool at the moment, still inexpericed lol

I dont know how to put players on the transfer list, or do they offer if any clubs are interested?

You click the player, then set transfer status then you can transfer list them, loan list them, asking price and squad status, and if you offer them to clubs after they are listed there is more chance that a club will come after them, make sure they aren't injuried ethier as this can mean a club won't go for a player

I think you have to right click on a player (or go into their profile) and you get an option such as Set Transfer Status which brings up a screen where you can choose to put them up for loan or on the transfer list.
