2009/10 - got Marcelo Gomez coming in from River for £10m and a couple of lesser known attacking midfielders as Seedorf, Ambrosini and Gattuso are now old and under-performing. Marcelo is constantly injured as is Iaquinta now. Problem is nobody wants to buy Suazo or Ricardo Oliveira - or even Daniele Bonera or Christian Abbiati
Forgot to say, having bought Bale for £5.5m and then allowed Inter co-ownership for £2.8m, both they and I accepted £10m bids for Arsenal who completed his £20m at the start of 2009/10  - he played only one game for my senior side as he's only 20.
My senior squad with the first choice(s) at the start is:
GK: Amelia, Dida, Abbiati

huh

, Coppola

huh

, Miolli (co-owned by and playing at Torino), Scribe, Favaretto, Heger (regen?) and one other.
RB: Zaccardo, Cassani, Schmiedebach, some Scandinavian guy arriving in December
LB: Chiellini, Marcelo, Modesto
CB: Kaladze, Nesta, Coloccini, Bonera

no

DM: Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Donati, Sunny (co-owned by and playing at Torino)
AM: Gourcuff, Elano, Luis Jimenez, Peter, Rosina (co-owned by and playing at Torino), Buonanotte (coming at end of season)
CF: Gilardino, Iaquinta, Okaka, Suazo, Ricardo Oliveira, Gomez (coming at end of season)
The best players in my youth ranks are Szabo, Pedro and Rivaldo (out on loan with my other manager at PSG) all of whom should end up as regulars in my first-team in a year or two.
Goalkeeping department is rather weak. Amelia's form is inconsistent as is Dida's now. Coppola and Abbiati aren't good enough but I can't get rid of them and the rest are all young but have seemingly huge potential and are out on loan throughout Italy.
