My best two moments on my Liverpool game so far:

Knocking Chelsea out of the CL on penalties, and once again beating them in a cup :D

Lost the first leg 3-1, only to come back and thanks to Ryan Babel's 91st minute strike to make it 3-1 us, sending it to extra time then pens.

Reina saved 4 of Chelsea's 5 pens (Terry hit the 5th one over the bar), while Cech only saved one of ours, the others hit the post and went over.

Possibly the greatest comeback I'll ever do on FM:

When I went down 2-0, I threw my tissue box into the wall, and left a mark there , and was fucking raging. I changed tactics for the 2nd half, went attacking, complete domination in the 2nd half by us, just couldn't score, then Gallas' sliced clearance into the top corner gave us some hope.

Then Arsenal went on the counter attack, Bendtender (sp?) got it in our box, Gerrard tackled him and cleared it, it fell to Gilberto, then Gerrard tackled him, just outside our own box, ran up the right wing, cut inside was about 30 yards out, passed it to Torres who in turn swerved with the ball and passed it through to Crouch who tapped it past Lobont. The unthinkable had happened for Arsenal. Then in the 91st minute, Leto (who is one of the contenders for the young player of the year award) picked it up, played it to Alonso, who played a 1-2 with Gerrard, then sliced Arsenal's defence with a through ball, Crouch of all people ran onto it and scored to make it 3-2, and win me the game, was fucking stoked, couldn't believe my luck :D

He had the ball in his own box in his hands, kicked it up, lobbed over the Bolton defence, Jussi went to control it missed it and it bounced it, a 80 yard shot isn't bad eh?

It never happened in your game but you love to see it?!?

Ah, well, knowing you, you might love seeing it at your friend's or on youtube.

I assume it is a grammar mistake of yours which got me wrong. You said "I love to see it" which made me think that you usually love seeing it.

P.S: You forgot the "would" after I.;)

I bring my keeper up for set-pieces every game if I'm trailing in the dying minutes - it's worked out for me on a few occassions.

Shut up. :erm:

I'm in January on my Liverpool season. I've only been defeated once, which was to Arsenal away, the title is definitely mine, I'll resign if I don't win it.

I've bought a few players, mainly youngsters my scout recommended. I had him scout Holland and he came back with loads, the best being Georginio Wijnaldum, he's progressed shit-loads since joining and could walk into Derby, Wigan and the like, first teams already. The two recognised players I've bought are Defoe and Pires. They've done well, Defoe has about 9 goals in 16 games, (injured quite a bit) and Pires has only scored 1, but he has plenty of assists and has provided some much needed experience on the wing.

I've given my youngsters the carling and FA CUP games as well as 1 in the champions league. They've done great. They got me to the quarters of the carling cup where they got beat 5-4 by Spurs thanks to some shite refereeing. I don't think I'll have to buy too many players in the future as I have 11 youngsters who could be superstars.

GK: Bouzaniss (sp)

RB: Spearing or Barragan
LB: Insua
CB: Hobbs
CB: Agger

DM: Lucas
CM: Wijnaldum
LM: Aquino or Leto
RM: Babel

ST: Nemeth
ST: Zeekuif (sp)

Then there's Pacheco and Ammo is the under-18s who my coaches are fond of.

Agger, Lucas and Babel are surely used in the first team already? And Insua became Liverpool's regualr left back within a year and a half on my game.

He's touted as the next Clarence Seedorf in mine and was running things for my under-20 team until he got an injury.

In typical Milan fashion, Ronaldo had a run of nine hours without a goal, Inzaghi eleven and Gilardino ten. My top goalscorer in February is Kaka followed by Gourcuff, Seedorf, Pirlo and only then Gilardino and Ronaldo.

-----

Gilardino hit a hat-trick in my nervous 3-1 aggregate win over Dinamo Kiev in the second round of the CL. I'm flying in Serie A with only six points dropped in 28 matches, fifteen clear of Inter who have left everyone else behind. Lippi's back at struggling Juventus.

The second manager I'm playing as in the same game who started unemployed got his first job - a four-month contract with Dutch second division Volendam  I have no idea who the players are and I've managed to sign four free players for next season when I'm not there (and I don't know who any of them are). Thankfully, the club had already secured a place in the play-offs (strange system where there are 'periods' of six games working like a mini championship) and we're three points behind ADO Den Haag in the overall league table (winning leads to automatic promotion) with a home game against them next.

At my game Zeefuik is already PSV's topscorer, and Wijnaldum left Feyenoord and currently resides at Liverpool. Glad to see you caught up in the web of Dutch 2nd Division football Don  Yeah it is a strange system. In my Ajax game, ADO have a guy named Kogeldans who's leading the topscorer charts, do they have him as well or did they buy him?
