It's perfectly simple to do, it's just a very tiresome affair as it involves a few, repetitive tasks, carried out countless times.
Can take a while, but it's not "difficult."

A further update on the facepack situation. Five Premiership teams included in this update, those being:
Arsenal - 56 photos
Aston Villa - 25 photos
Birmingham City - 34 photos
Blackburn Rovers - 64 photos
Bolton Wanderers - 34 photos
At present, these only include playing staff (I took this as a priority for creation). Once I've made some real progress compiling a few leagues, I'll fill in the staff and release them in a few packs.
Obviously there are gaps, in the cases where I simply could not find a suitable picture of the player (I don't think it's worth including really low-res graphics, I'd sooner have no graphic!). I will work on releasing a pack to "fill in the gaps" once the entire league has been done.
I'm going to continue working on the packs throughout today, and by tomorrow we should have an entire Premiership pack.
Please do leave me some feedback, anyone who uses them/doesn't like the look of them/whatever.

Can't find any fault in the Arsenal pack, clear pictures and definitely a step up from the horrendous SI cuts. About to download the rest.

So, I won my penultimate game and went top, with the top four having 84, 83, 82 and 81 points respectively but disaster has struck! Seven players (five startes) have been called up for international duty, and although I still have an OK starting XI but my bench is just kids. Hoping I can hang on to this, away to Pescara who are 17th. To be continued...

In my Milan game, my strikers are again being shit (Gilardino just scored his first in 15 hours of play) despite me battering teams. Over at Amkar (second manager) we avoided relegation which is what the board wanted when I took over with five games left and I'm trying to bolster the squad ahead of the new season (currently in December 2008).

I personally think it's the skin that's making it do that. Considering when in windowed mode, dragging the size of the window causes the game interface to adjust accordingly.

Ah, well I don't know then. I remember him saying he was doing it all on his lonesome and it takes about 3 new FMs before you're happy with it.
Also you play it on a laptop like me, but I can't get it to play in a windowed mode, it moans at me. Did you have any problems with it and, if so, how did you get around it?

Maybe it's because incorrect shortcut?
Try this one.
Right click on the FM icon on ur desktop and go to properties.
On the shortcut section enter:
"C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed
