I got it on a whim. I played 2010 for about 300 hours and only got it in the april/may of this year.
Its pretty good. Some changes i like, such as 'coversations' with players instead of telling them this and that.
Its pretty funny actually, i put owen out for loan and he came and spoke to me outraged that i put him on the loan list and that he thought he should be starting for us week in week out.
I then went on to tell him to give me and the club some respect at which he left the conversation agreeing he should go out on loan for more playing time.
I started as Manchester United just to get a hang of whats different from 2010, the training is alot different, still not got my head round that fully but i was tired when i played it.
Buying players is alot better once a fee is agreed with a club you know go into a conversation where u hash out contract details which is nice. Some agents ask for rediculous money and if its not offered they storm out lol.
So far i've signed Van der Wiel for £10.2m and Steven Defour for 4.3m.
Rooney and berbatov have been shit for me so far but hernandez, even though he hasn't 'blended' into the squad, is my preseason top scorer with 6.
I've got a week off work as i busted my knee so ive got a feeling ill be playing this alot

I got this on Monday - it's my first FM since 2008.
Went with Newcastle for my first game, seeing as avoiding relegation is all I need to do...
Drew my first game 0-0 at Wigan, then lost 3-0 at OT after a Rooney hat-trick. I then beat Plymouth at home in the CC 2nd round with an Ameobi goal (got Swansea away next).
In my first home league game against West Brom, I dominated but went 1-0 down through Dorrans - and after Ameobi missed a pen in the 49th minute, I didn't think it'd be my day...
Until, that is, Nolan equalised with ten minutes to go. I decided to go all out for the win, seeing as Arsenal and Chelsea are up next. In the closing stages, Zuiverloon got sent off as he was the last man, and then on the very last second of the three additional minutes, Jonas won a second ''soft'' penalty for me. Ameobi stepped up again and put that one away to win the game. Glorious.
But yeah, not expecting much from the next two games. Anything's a bonus. Will play them tomorrow.

Yeah I've got this, got it day it came out. Haven't had the chance to get into yet though, had exams. No doubt I'll love it when I do though, just like last year's FM.
Started a game with Rotherham, just like every year - loaned in a few players from higher divisions and made a good start to the season from what I can remember...

Started a game with Lazio on saturday. Was given £0 for transfers which was very kind of them.
Sold Scaloni (loan + fee), Del Nero (1.2), Lichsteiner (9.5 in total), Manfredini (500k) and Barreto (co-ownership, 2m)
Got £13m in total.
Signed Igor (free), Babunski (free), A Laudrup (775k), Avdic (3.4) and Lora (2)
I finished 4th (media prediction was 11th) and lost to Inter in Coppa Italia final.

Signed this guy but have to wait three/two years until he arrives.

I'm unsure about the conversation things. At times they make sense, but then at other times I have no idea...
I've signed a couple of 18 year olds and once they've arrived, I've moved them to reserves. And days later they come to me gurning about being dropped, surely they don't expect to be a starter?
I fined someone twice in the space of a month and the whole team went apeshit, and practically the whole team transfer listed themselves. The likes of Zarate, Hernanes and others were listed by request for a whole season and then then their contracts ran up and I lost both of frees.

I ordered mine last week for £17 and up til now I still haven't received it. Keep in mind I ordered 1-2 day delivery. Someone on amazon is going to get a serious tongue lashing tomorrow morning.

My Bristol City isnt going too great, In FM10 i managed to get them promoted to the EPL in the first season and then to a 5th place finish in the second. But in FM11 im really struggling however it seems i may have just hit a vein of form as i've just beat preston 9-0..With Nicky Maynard, who has been very average (scoring 6 in about 20 games), scoring 7 of them 9 goals.
This is the biggest win ive had in FM game and the most goals from a single player in one game. Just wondering whats your biggest score/ who's scored the most goals in a game for you.
