Hi,

When you are playing random on form, does condition affect the randomness of the arrows? Does playing home and away in a league affect form? Is it 100% random the form.

Does playing players out of position have a serious affect on how good they play? And does mentality and team work have an affect on a game?

Any answers would help thanks...

postioning dont really matter if the player has the stats to play that postion. so an example....

Tony Hibbert only plays (SB) but playing him in DM would be just as effective.
Just use common sense and dont play players incredibly out of postion the way they play will only change becasue that player wont have the skills for that position. Eg Hibbert up frony lol

If I have a pointless game to play I like to change my team around. Stick my 2 GK up front, shove Rooney in goal (like the Nike advert). Scored a cracking free kick with Van Der Sar lol.

If you have a good quality player and as thehig said not being daft where you put them shouldn't really have an effect. Chikhaoui came as a AMF but he plays awsome in the DMF position and as he's big and powerful have played him CB when needed.

I think alot has to depend on a player's Condition rating. I think they should bring back the Consistency rating because I reckon Condition and Consistency are two different things.

Yes it does Titcha. The arrows affect the stats of the player.

Green arrow: normal stats.
Orange and red arrows: the stats are boosted by a certain percentage.
Blue and grey arrows: the stats are decreased by a certain percentage.

Hope that helps. If I can recall correctly, in the Hints and Tips section, there was a stickied thread explaining the above.

The previously mentioned thread actually exists. Click here for the thread and all you need to know about the arrows. They are for PES5 but I dount that has changed (much).
