i always use 4-1-2-1-2! basic diamond but players out a little

3-5-2 is the best formation
with two definsive mf depending on who ya playing but u will dominate most teams using this formation plus still score plenty of goals from mf just set 1 df mf to sit back and cover the back 3 and the other to push onto support the forwards so most of the time you have a front 3 or 4 depending wot ya do with ya attacking mf...it works for me

i like the simple 4,4,2 it provides lots of defensive cover and going forward in numbers as the wing backs push up the wings and defensive midfeilders will then hang on the edge of the box so if u have a dm with a decent shot then u will have a extra man going forward

3-2-2-3 are interesting for using in ML.

In 3-2-2-3 you don't have any SB's or SMF's so defending from sides if very difficult. If someone plays against you with 4-4-2, you're in big trouble....

Not necessarily as they will have to get into the centre eventually and you have 3 (hopefully big) CBs to clear and if it lands outside the area, 2DMFs to clean up.

Even if you have SBs, the opposition usually manage to get a cross in anyway and though it's useful to try to block the cross - then they go for corners which are even more risky!

OK then, 4-2-2-2 then. How's that?
I had a lot of ML success with 3-2-2-3 including a 13-0 win on Extreme level.

Hi!!

I use a 3 - 4 - 3 and it's not bad but risky!!
I use the German team with Nowotny, Metzelder and Worns at the defense ans it's works pretty good!!
