Free Kicks... Other than shooting...

Ok... so here's the situation... your player has just been pulled down right over on the wing or near the halfway line... you're to far out to shoot... so you have to pass it or do something with it... what do you do??? It seems everytime you want to swing it into the box... it either goes to far... the keeper grabs it... or your players are far to far from the box... and you end up having players chase the ball down... and never get to it! Alls i do with freekicks like that... is press X and hope one of my guys get it... sometimes i blast it long and hard along the ground hoping it'll hit one of my guys... (O and press down)... but what else can you do to put the ball in the air... and get players in the box????

because you're too far out, obviously you can't change free kick options , so just look for your free players, if there is one close by, X....if not.....then use the directional buttons and O.....it's not that hard, honestly, just keep trying

i usually play a short pass to one of my players, but sometimes i might press down and circle to play a low hard ball down the wing and hopeo n of my players will chase it down. i try to be a bit creative sometimes.
