Has anybody ever scored a free kick with R.Carlos. I think he is da best to score a goal with? Does anybody av their favourite free kick takers???

Please dont say DAVID BECKHAM cause he is crap!!!!!

I like Ronaldinho cause his run up takes a little longer giving you time to tweak the power and dip etc.....gotta disagree though, I score stupid amounts with Beckham.

I no Wright-Phillips hasn't got good freekick stat's but he's my favorite freekick taker. Rooney is good on freekick's too.

Roberto Carlos makes some nice freekicks but no one bends it like Beckham haha.

Rooney scored a 30 yarder against me the get!. Beckham is the best though because his stats say so

for players for the computer danny murphy willl score nearly every time i beat charlton 5-3 and he scored 3 free kicks out of 4

Shevchenko, forget what it says on his stats for FK. I've busted 2 35+ FK's with him and I've only free kicked with him 10-11 times max since I rarely use AC Milan b/c my friend whores the team and I end up using Barca. The first 35 yarder was a floater so accurate that it was merely inches under the bar but never hit it. Keeper was perfectly positioned but couldn't reach it or mistimed. The second was a bullet into the goal that hit of the keeper's hands. Though his shot isn't 99 and fk is like 74-75... the guy just has the right stuff. I don't even use pirlo anymore unless its at a heavy angle where curve is absolutely necessary. Shev's run always gives you more time to aim. I'm never deleting those 35+ goals off my mem card.

I use to hold up meanwhile charging with square for the ball to go over barriers.

The only secret is to practise, and you will know how much you have to fill your bar and where do you have to point depending on the curling stats of your player.

Roberto Carlos' free kick is laughable...

only time roberto carlos does a decent free kick is when you're right on the edge of the box close to centre, and you hit it hard and low in between the goalkeeper and the wall. smashes it straight down the middle and close to the keeper but if you do it right the keeper won't even move.

personally i score the most with recoba (this guy is lethal from over 26m), beckham, juninho (shot is too weak to score from more than about 28m though) and rooney. those are the best four for me. havent tried shevchenko, xaxi or del piero. ronaldinho is rubbish for me, deco is okay but a little random.
