Freekick and Conner kick technique !

I'm sure that freekick is one of the most interesting part of this game , but it's so hard to do , i rarely score from them , but have to so many in a match . Because the in this game good tackle ease lead to a freekick cause of handing ball . I found two promising technique in the net , they said that it's a cheat , because it score almost . But i found nothing . The first is the famous "Under wall" , i score 9/10 in training but , in real match , it touch the player behind the wall almost time , it go under wall indead . But never reach the goal !
The second is hold d-pad (up) and tap the (O) very rapid (barely slight) and it look like a normal shoot , but the goal keeper will fall too soon , but i don't see that , it's just normal a shoot , sometimes it scores , but it is not impossible to prevent like the creator wrote ! Moreover it's hard to pass the wall !
Through my exp , i found out a very effective way to preven freekick , it's that , tap L1 rapidly until you find the one behind your wall , move him immediately to the position near the pillar where the ball will probally come in . If you do that quickly enough , your opponent have 1% to score even it's a good shot . But the master will shot immediately before you have a chance to move your defender , but it need a very good skill to shoot imediate ! That's all i have .
By the way , i found also in the net , a way to score from connerkick about 70% , and that's true , i score even more than that rate , with an com opponent , i score even 80% or more with Rivaldo and Pires , Ronaldo head (73) . In the nearest match with my friend i scored 4 times , that's really something ! I haven't found any effective way to score from freekick like connert kick . If anyone found one , share me . You are right about the man on the line.

I don't think there is a 'formula' for free-kicks. There's been a lot of advice on older threads that should turn up in a search.

Just practice to get power right for the distance and to see how the d-pad (or left analogue stick) alter the curl - left and right - and the hight of the shot - up and down.

Then there is R1 for a more powerful, lower, shot.

And R2 for a higher, softer, one.

OH thanks , i'm wondering about the effect of R1 and R2 , it is just the same effect as holding up and down d-pad . Now i have practiced a lot and i have mastered in using the curling and the power bar to pass the wall , but it still be catched by the keeper even it's a very good shot , it means there is need a lot of luck !
Through hundred of matches i found out one way to score from free kick it isn't very good but if you're not a good free kick you can use my way . Just use (o) to send a lob in to the box , even at the distance of 30 or 45 , it's okay . In normal situation you can head direct to the goal , or you can pass to another then score . And in lucky situation the ball will fly through the hand of the goal keeper , and you score like a free kick . I score 6 or 7 goal like that , but not much . But if you haven't score any goal from freekick try mine ! Remember press the (o) enough power , so it is only in the middle of the box , and your forward will jump and make the keeper to miss the catch , do'nt do it too strong , cause you can't score without the help of the forward . After you send the ball , press ([]) repeatly to tell your forward to jump ! Try your luck !

I think so. My brother can get more power on his free-kicks than I can.

When using R1 for extra power in the shot, I think you have to hold down :square: (shoot) for a bit longer.

I know about the long free-kick, (holding forward on the left stick, holding :circle: to half power). 44m seems to be the ideal distance.

It helps to have a forward run into the keeper so he mis-judges the ball.

My personal record is 54m with Helguerra.

The most effective way to score from corner kick is to hold up button plus :L1: and :circle: all together and make sure ( this is important) the cross meter reach half , and immediately press shoot button for header ...this is pure secret , i only share with gifted player ...so go on and try.
