How The Bloody Hell Do You Score Them?!

I've only scored one, It was 28metres out i think. I scored it with Totti in the CL with Roma against Zenit St. Petersburg. I held down the up button + triangle while I shot to make it a very hard shot then the power was roughly half way up the bar and..... VOILA!! top corner wn the game 3-2 in the end

Yeah, Malafeev is known to allow freekicks pretty easily, so no wonder you scored against him

shorter free kicks, hold power to half way, hold up or any other direction, up works best. nd A (X for ps3)

longer freekicks, hold power a bit over half way, hold up nd Y (Triangle for ps3)

i think they made reekicks more easy in 2009, it was bloody difficult to score one in 2008

Chris Brunt, to equalise against Man U in my first season in the top flight - genius! I am loving the new manual controls!

I am now practising it like hell in the training mode so that I can surprise my mate with it when I go home next week. Ha ha.

Another tip - if you try the shot I've suggested (with the right analogue stick pushed up) but you think you've definately overdone it, press L1 as the player comes in to shoot, and he'll pass it to the feet of a teammate instead.

Ha ha, it's because I am very pleased with myself for doing this at last (I couldn't manage it on previous PESs because I am crap with using both R3 and directing it.).
