FREEZE/CRASH on the formation screen.

I've had PES5 since it came out, no problems in all that time.

Suddenly today i go to play a match and on the formation settings screen before the match it just freezes and i have to restart the computer or (if it's in a window) end pes5.exe.

I've tried leagues, cups, master leagues, everything.. every single time it freezes on the formation screen.

I've not changed anything recently. Just routing manual editing.

I've also got rid of a lot of old replays and saves as suggested in the sticky thread.. but still it freezes.

I have no patches installed.

Help, please.

i have the same problem, just recently stopped working.. reinstalled game, changed gfx drivers, nothing helps.

Easily solved, sounds like you have too many replay saves, just create a new folder and move them into it. PES5 craps itself if it has like 10 replays in the save folder.

With the replay thing, it doesn't like more than 8MB per folder.

Not sure about you having it happen when you have nothing saved.
