from FIFA Freak to PES

I was able to purchase my 1st PES3 few days ago and I must say after 7 years of being a FIFA Freak, PES changed my view on football gaming.

Although the game is far more advanced than FIFA, the game mode seems to be too fast. Its like playing the game in fast forward mode.

Is there a way to lower the game speed? Also, are there commands for high/low shots?

Apreciate any comments from gamers out there.

Anyway, thanks for convincing me to buy this game. If it were not for the forums I've read, I'd be stuck with FIFA forever. I just don't know if I'm going to lose my job if I continue playing PES3 till 4am! How I wish I was in grade school again......

Some people say it's too fast, some people say the speed is normal - what in the world is going on...

Glad that you finally realised that FIFA is nothing but a bullshit, crapiest, idiotic game ever created.

Some people say it's different when you play on 50hz then on 60hz, I don't really understand this point...

I made the experience that people who haven´t played WE7 say that PES3 has normal speed, and people who have WE7 say PES3 is to fast. So it seems to be slower than PES2 and faster than WE7, what would be to fast in my opinion.
btw it´s normal that 50 Hz is slower than 60 Hz, and there will be a switch option in PES3 between these two modes.

how about the high & low shots? Does this depend on the period or time you press the shot button or does it have a combination of buttons to execute?

From what I've heard:

50hz (PAL) = faster gameplay

60hz (NTSC) = same gameplay as WE7 i.e. slower

PES3 is slower than PES2? Did you mean to say that larsson? I just think by looking at the demos etc which I've downloaded that it would be the opposite way?

I´ve never played the final version of PES3. But people who have played it say that it´s slower than PES2, it´s not my personal opinion. WE7 is a little bit slower than PES2.

I asked a good friend of mine who is an expert in these things and he said that it´s technically impossible that 50 Hz is faster than 60 Hz. Don´t know whether to believe him or not.

You should keep in mind that frame-rates are increased in the videos you see in forums, thus, making it seem faster.
