Can anyone help?

Im currently in my 3rd Season ML I promoted a player in the middle if season 1 and since then he has been in my starting 11.

However he ALWAYS has a purple arrow and has NEVER developed.
I checked out what was wrong on the "My Team" screen and it says he has a frosty relationship with the club!!!

How can this be fixed???????????

play him more in a lot of matches; playing hard and winning some champions titles will increase players white loyalty bar therefore players
form(colored arrows) will improve; hire high level staff to get better form and better stats development for players. Do not put him on Transfer list, white loyalty bar will be shortened because of that.

I have got the exact same problem. Some of my players have a frosty relationship with the club and I play them every game.

I bought a player on a free transfer, Babic, played him left back which is his best position in my Champions League Qualifier - he had a green arrow for condition - and every game after he had a purple arrow saying he had a frosty relationship with the club. I played him games in a row but he didn't want to know. You've got to ditch players like that, because a permanent down arrow is not worth accommodating into your team no matter how good he is. He won't be quick to the ball, stamina will be shit and his general play will ... well suck.

It seems to be down to a glitch with free agents. A lot of people experience it with classic or made up players who are brought in on a free.

Best bet is to sell them on, Maybe then in a season buy them back? See if that works.

It is. Every classic player I signed went like that. Had the same thing with a couple of re-born players. After a season of playing Scholes in nearly every game he still had a purple arrow so I flogged him!
