lol, this thread is so refreshing to read. glad to see there are people who still have a proper sense of life priorities. restores some faith in humanity for me..

as for pes, i wouldn't expect konami to improve 2012 even if all this stuff DIDN't happen. the lazy bastards

It is happening again
I think a lot of the people of Japan will want to get back to normal life as soon as possible. Obviously it's difficult with a tradegy like this, a lot of people will have lost loved ones. The Japanese people strike me as being very strong minded. They have had disasters before this one, albeit of a different kind, and the came out strong.

I was thinking the same thing. Basically said the same thing to my gf last night.

Not only that but in terms of Japan they along with China make the vast majority of goods around the world. I suppose the economy will be hit a bit.

But really the main thing is helping the Japanese get back on their feet and back to what they consider a normal life.

Really? This is your first thought when a fucking tsunami hits, killing countless people?

Fuck's sake man.

Agreed. It just beggars belief. The most powerful earthquake in Japanese history hits, followed by a devastating Tsunami that wipes out homes and lives on the coast, killing thousands, destroying ways of life, and is going to have a profound impact for years. Life in those areas are never going to be the same again. And if thats not enough, a Nuclear crisis starts to form, that could lead to another Chernobyl, and radiation making once populated places uninhabitable. But yet, despite all of this, your biggest concern is the impact all of that could have on the future of a videogame?

Do you think next year's game with have KONAMI NUCLEAR ALLSTARS where the players have developed freakish physical attributes? That's the sort of thing the Japs'd do.
