Game is incredibly slow

Hi Guys

I've had a look at the posts and no one seems to have the same problem as me. My game is inexplicably slow. The slow motion replays are a lot faster than my actual game. I can go high resolution, high quality to low quality, low resolution but the game speed won't change at all.

AMD 2500+
ATI radeon 9500pro
1.5 gigs of DDR RAM


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This isn't much help I know, but my brother bought pes 4 last year and played it on his PC. He had the same problems that you are talking about as his game was running very slow. He ended up finding a patch for it that made it run somewhat faster, but still didn't fix the problem completely. I think that his computer insufficient for the game in my opinion and that was his problem. Anyways, I would look for some patch. Sorry, I know that's not very helpful.

Thanks. I'm not sure if a patch would be out yet.

I don't believe that my computer is insufficient for the game though, as I said, I can run the game in the highest or lowest resolutoins without ANY change in performance and I don't think that the frame rates are very low. It's just that the game runs in slow motion.

The slow-mo replays are fast, which suggests my hardware can handle it.

on PES 4, I didn't have this problem until very recently, but I formatted the PC and started with scratch with PES 5 only to be confronted with the same old woes.

I had a weird problem kinda like this where it went slow on my PC and I have a Radeon X800XT and a 3ghz pentium. The game would be especially slow when the ball was in the air from a long ball or a cross I fixed it by changing my refresh rate to 60hz seems like an odd fix but it worked for me.
