I agree, all I have heard for the past months is that the game isn't PES worthy,(MAINLY because no editing, get over it) well I live in the states and have downloaded the Demo and have been playing the demo for about a couple of weeks now and I can honestly say that this game plays great. One example is that I can only play with 1 of 4 teams (SPAIN) and against the other three (SWEDEN, CZECH, & ITALY) I have played each team numerous times and have always had a different match, never once felt like the same match over and over (LIKE all FIFA game sincluding recent FIFA '07) regardless who I was playing.
I think the demo is great, realistic shooting, great controlled passing, great off the ball runs, numerous camera angles (THAT you don't get with FIFA '07). I even think the graphics are good, can be better but from past PES games on current gen, you have to notice a difference, especially the stadiums and the stadium lighting/grass look (No more tracker grass, YEAH!).
Now for all of my English friends, I can understand that playing the English premier league with generic uniforms kind of takes the fun and simulation and professionalism out of the game, but in that instance I lucked out because I mainly play the Spanish league (I am a Real Madrid Fan) but I have had my share of dissapointments with PES in past installments because their never was the SANTIAGO BERNABEAU stadium (Real Madrid Stadium). So that makes me happy and eager to play in the Bernabuea when the game hits shores on feb. 6th.
S for FIFA '07, they took a good step forward but after a month of play I noticed, like always, the same way to beat defenses. The graphics are good in some areas but SHITE in others, only the English stadiums look good, the rest, horrible, bad lighting, horrible grass color, some stadiums you don't even see the fans (Looks like your playing in a Park) Bad camera angles. Thats my take on it.

why does it take so long too format from pal to ntsc.its well pathetic.4 months later!!!!there prolly wont be many if any adjustments.but i was dissapointed with fifa too,having just rented the game.and that is still no pes,but what fifa always had was all the leagues,now theres six. i thought i would have the luxury of been leeds,but the championship isnt even on!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not having a go at the xbox 360 game. just the europeon version in general. because the japanese winning eleven is vastly superior on every level.

im asking why they cant keep it the same

im taking the game back to the shop because playing it would insult REAL pes fans.

The gameplay is fine, i don't have any real issues with it, not like Fifa with the fat ass players and impossible Goalies, oh and that little spin that the CPU can ALWAYS beat your defenders with. If you're gonna moan about a game, make sure its a really really bad one, that said... stop picking on PES, its fine.
