Game Over!!! WHY???

Just finished my 6th season in Div.2. I'm not very good at this game but I'm improving. Managed to get a reasonable squad together over some time. I just to improve my in game skills.

But at the end of season 6 I got the game over message. I'm using the anti cheat mode so there's no going back.

Thing is..... I didn't sell any players in the close season and I finished with +899 points at the end of the season.

So why did I get GAME OVER???

But it's the end of the season.... there are no salaries. They only get paid when they play. They don't even get paid to play friendlies!

I'm pissed off I've got to start again. I did enough to keep a +ve points score. And if players are gonna go you get to re-negotiate contracts. But this never came up, so I should be OK.

There's a rule about you needing to have more than 16 (I think) players in your squad. Maybe you went down to 15? Don't know what else it could be.

Bribing the officials?! ;)

So what you are saying is that a player left my squad without my knowledge. Don't I get to re-negotiate contract in the last year then? That's not very good is it? What if 5 or 6 players buggered off at once and you didn't know? A good game could be ruined.

This must be a bug!

If they are at the end of their contract, you do get plenty of chances to offer them enough to stay, unless you skip the negotiation stage altogether. In which case maybe they could have been offered what they wanted or maybe they just left to join the glitz and glamour of Panathinaikos?!

Or maybe they got together in the night when I wasn't playing and said "This guy is so crap! Let's bugger off to PES United and put him out of his misery"
