disabling the sound car didn't worked for me, that's why I tried this strange patch, and it worked ;) At 1280x960 and high quality I get the normal game speed...more or less

The same here, deactivating sound card didn´t help me, after installing this patch I can play with the highest resolution and with all details. And the speed is nice, not to fast, not to slow, like in the PS2-version I would say.

I have a problem, when I run the patch it doesn´t seem to find any PES3.EXE. He asks for the PES3.bak.

Can you help anibarro?

its a damn shame. Games developers seem to be able to bring a PC game to PS2 successfully so why can't they do it the other way round?

how do you install this patch? I tried to run it but it says something about not being able to find PES3.exe (I think)? I copied file into directory but still nothing. Could someone give instructions on this? Thanks to anyone who can help.

It must be simply in the same directory like the pes3.exe, that´s all, run the speed.exe and click on ??(S)

thx larsson, but I must be a bit thick. I copied speedup.exe to the same directory as pes3.exe. When I then try to run speedup.exe from that folder and click on ??(S) I get the windows critical stop sound and nothing happens. I can't read the error message though. Is this how you did it?

Have you tried whether it works or not ? I can´t remember exactly but I think I had the same message and it worked for me.

Try to tell the patch where your pes3.exe is, click the button with three points [...] next to the dialog box with pes3.exe text inside and search de folder where your pes3.exe is. Then click on [??(S)] button and thats all...if you are patching a fresh install of PES3 it should work

This accelerator pacth really works!!

I can run run PES3 at 1024*768 with max detail with no slowdowns!!

I can get the game to run fairly well on my p4 2.4ghz, 512mb DDR, geForce4, but thats with low detail and the lowest resolution. Even then I sometimes get slowdown when the ball goes near the goal.
Tried the accelerator patch and it worked really well, except despite what the settings said, once I got into the game my dual shock no longer worked, and I could only play with the keyboard. I bought a ps2 controller and a usb adapter just so I could play the game properly, so I have no intention of trying to play using the keyboard. Is there any solution, or will I just have to stick to playing the low graphics version?

Well.. for thoso whom can't get the speedup patch to work.. be sure you apply the patch to the original (non 1.10.2 offical patched).

BTW.. the patch makes the game not playable (at least for me)..
I've P4 1.8 256 RDRAMS. Radeon 9000 64 DDRAM.

at 1024*768 the game it toooooooo fast.. at higher resolutions there's alot of FRAME SKIPS and some speedups.. Not too good not too bad.
