Gamebreaking 'auto' cross glitch

hello guys, there's a game breaking 'feature' thats keeping me from buying the game. In the demo i noticed that if your crossing from the side/wing (near your corner area) the ball automatically goes to the middle or near your team mates in the box like a guided missile, there's no power bar or anything to control the distance and direction of your cross, it just automatically does that. sometimes i just want to lob it to a cutting team mate but it just keeps on going to the box. this is just killing me guys.

One more thing, when your facing a defender and you release the left stick, your player automatically feints non stop even without pressing R2, this just looks silly and im losing my control over my player, i hate this, this is just too much cpu assistance for my taste.

Is this still the case in the retail version or did they fix this? Thanks guys

crossing is definitely easier and more precise than in PES2011, reminds me of the crossing in 2010 and old PS2 games where my friend would cross me to death with Milan.... Cafu cross to Shevcenko ahahaha hated that. ok back on topic... its more precise than last yaer but not as precisee as the demo, Ive scored a few goals with crosses into the box but most times the defender is able to head it out.

The other question, I haven't noticed this glitch you are talking of, what version are you playing? Xbox, PS3 or PC ? Im on PS3 by the way.

DIECI, hahaha i loved that cafu to sheva connection, milan glory days, used to do that all the time.

im playing on the pc. My problem is that in the old versions you could control the power and direction of your cross, but based on the 2 demos you cant do that anymore, its just a guided missile in the box, no power bar or anything, this is really bothering me. Thanks man

yeah man i noticed that to0.... the power level is fucked up...you hold down the shoot or pass button all the way down and the power of it is no different than if you tapped :C

i hope in this update they fix it but I highly doubt it

Dont you have to do a manual cross for that by using L2 or left trigger. That is how you do it I think

its plain broken, i missed the days when you over press your cross and the ball shoots off the pitch. konami just doesnt seem know what to do with their new passing system, are they aiming for full control fifa style passing or based on the players passing ability. Its really inconsistent, even the L2 (manual pass) is inconsistent. I doubt they'll fix this, but still optimistic.

Dont you have to do a manual cross for that by using L2 or left trigger. That is how you do it I think

L2 is not working man, its driving me nuts :realmad: (this is in the demo version)

I've overpassed plenty of times on crosses, the ball goes over the heads of the defenders and to the other side of the ptich or out of bounds. It doesn't always go to the heads of the attacker, not in the PS3 retail game. I agree there is no powerbar, they should have it on crosses like they do for corners. I will be more concious of the crosses tonight and try to give you a better answer tomorrow.

Oh one thing, how is your pass assist set up? try taking all the bars off and play fully unassisted, that could probably solve your crossing issue....

Im playing full unassisted. Yup, it does over pass at times but sometime even with a full power bar the crosses seem to be finding their man, im just having trouble with inconsistency of the passing. But even with all that gripes im still enjoying the hell out of the demo, i do prefer the 1st demo's overall feel of the game but i liked the dribbling in the 2nd demo, you can feel the difference between the players like lahm vs ribery. this feels like a true next gen pes game. thanks a lot man, appreciate it.

i've had plenty of crosses that don't connect with the player...heck i wish it would sometimes haha

I have also had crosses going over players heads on PS3 retail version with the single o hit.
