I will soon be selling my Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

It is in pretty good nick, and has two functioning control pads, all relevant leads, and a host of games. I can name them all if required.

There is no original boxing available, but I may be able to fish out some manuals (not sure though!).

Yes, I am being serious. I doubt that anyone wants it for playability - more likely as a collector's item - but the console is fully-functional and works absolutely fine.

I would've estimated around £70 - there's a few people selling SNES consoles on eBay with 5 games for about £50, and mine comes with a fair few more than that.

I'd probably part company with it for less closer to the £50 mark, if it came to it, though.

I'll pop into my local game-selling-type shop soon and see what they think - as I'm not really up-to-speed regarding the prices of 16-bit consoles these days.

Game shops would offer pittance or not even bother. As you say it will be more than likely a collector so I'd say bang it on Ebay. I have an old NES, still works and has two controllers but only 4 games.

I'm aware of that - but their offer would allow me to gauge a realistic value I should be looking to get for it. Simply put, I have no real idea of what they would/should fetch.

If they offered me £20, then I know around £50 is a fair price.

There's only 2 reasons a man would ever sell his SexBox:

a) You are upgrading to an Elite. This is a perfectly valid reason.
b) You are buying a PS3. This, obviously, is not a valid reason at all.

sorry mate but the way I saw it was, that xbox was just as good as ps3 the whole of last year (and probably better actually) but now this year I reckon PS3 is just gonna overtake it, with exclusive titles such as Metal Gear Solid 4, Gran Turismo 5, SOCOM, plus it has most the game that will be out for 360 (apart from Gears of War 2 - which I'm gutted about)

but I just think it's time for a change and I want my ps3 hopefully before GTA 4 is out next month, so if there's anyone interested here, please just hit me with an offer
