Gerard is one of top five DMF. He works well with Hamann, who I think is in the top 10. No question that either Davids or Veira is the best DMF.

i bumped up makeleles stats (not a lot- realisticly) and hes one of the best, aswell as viera whos still -clearly - the man

Davids plays on my wing so i havnt tried him out as a DMF with viera steady as a rock at the back

he doesnt come forward but supports allowing rivaldo to make his runs in, just perfect

i recently bought gerrard and am trying to fit him in somewhere but with kewell viera rivaldo pele and davids on the team, its gonna need to be rotation between them all or a 2-6-2 formation

I have Gerrard (underrated imho) in my ML team. Sometimes though, when Cafu is knackered i play him at right back, he is amazing there. Especially when you play a short corner, and set it up for a long range effort from him. Nice.

I've played Gerrard there before! he plays well but id stick with him infront of my defenders as he has some attacking power!

bunbacker = beckenbauer. Excellent player, should be primarily a sweeper but can play as DMF.
