Finally got my matrix infinity premod yesterday. Finally played WE8, all i can say is brilliant, everything i wanted is in, just so almost perfect it made me teary eyed. But guess what, the matrix infinity quit on me after 2 hours. THATS IT, ONLY TWO GDDAMN HOURS, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT. BRAND NEW AND ITS FUCKING BROKEN. Im sorry for swearing but ive never been so frustrated in my entire life. I cant play any discs in it, originals, imports, backups nothing. I'm really wishing i would have got the DMS3 but the sales rep from modchipworld talked me into it saying how it was a better chip. Yeah better chip my ass. But i did see heaven for 2 hours, but i feel as if im at the lowest point in hell right now. Sorry for ranting. Dont buy a Matrix infinity chip, infact boycott the fucking thing. Long live WE8. To those of you who have the ability to play it i salute you.

Haha, you can't have any idea how hard this is for him. After I got WE8, I have had nightmares of my PS2 getting broken and things like that.

Remove the chip and see if everything works. I know that version 9 PS2s have problems...They die fast even without modchips.

yea, slide card is much more safer. even if your PS2 get wrecked, you can also sell it because the warranty tag is still on. just make sure you put the cover back on. :D i wish you luck mate.

If you cannot play ANY disks, originals in particular, then your console might have died. But if it's only a problem with imports and backups, maybe one of the wires hasn't been soldiered properly so it's loose now. Take it back, they'll fix it.

I wouldn't recommend you a slide card, very bad idea. It's not a long term solution for playing imports and backups.
