Getting megastars to sign...

I've been playing pes 2008 for a while now, last season I won the league, cup and champ league. My strikers were the top of every list and my team popularity is S and most players on the team are around a B.

How come AC Milan wouldn't relinquish an aging Kaka to me for a ridiculous amount on money and a top of his game Shimizu ? I just want to sign the classic big name players but they still don't fancy my team.

Maybe its the kit?

But in all seriousness now its incredibly frustrating. Its terrible, I have to play Lee Chun Soo in the middle of my mid field and I don't understand how he can be so good whereas most europeans players just dont compare i.e. Cesc Fab.

Any ideas?

How many years on the contract?

If the negotiation number (number from 0-100) is very low for example 1-15, he will never agree especially if he's in a S class team. Even if you offered your whole team. Believe me I've tried. I tried getting Messi, Essien and Benzema of which Benzema is not even in an S team. They kept saying Negotiation put on hold and when they say that, chances are it wont go through.

I wanted to buy Iniesta for ages but couldn't get him as his negotiation number (number from 0-100) was 1 or something stupid like that, but i cheated, i signed Linker for free and offered barca a swap deal, they accepted straight away, try getting some of the classic players which you can get for free/cheap and try to do a swap for the megastars that you want

thanks for help, I'll be trying next time the off season rolls around. I should really peep the contract years, to make things worse my friend who had to restart his ML signed messi when he was at 17 interest at the end of season 1.

I think the less years on the contract, the better the chance of them signing. So for big name players, one or two years is the best number. Then when the contract expires, ask them to stay for another year or so.

Lmao, i signed Kaka of AC Milan for about 10k points and salary for about 1000 something and they accepted and my team was a D, i started off with Man UTD defualt players, and Ronaldo's the player like Kaka for you.

i found some several thing that need to see when we want to sign a player :

>The club that the players come from.
i u want to sign a player from the same league it will be kinda difficult, because your club and the other club are competitor. Example : i play Arsenal and i want to sign C. Ronaldo or Rooney from Man United.

>The amount of players who have the same position in your team.
The player that i want to sign is MF position, but i have much MF players in my team. It will make chance to sign that player become harder, because the chance to play in a match become moe smaller.

>Your club and player that u want to sign reputation.
a great players wouldn't want to move to a rival or smaller team.
Example : Rooney wouldn't want to move to Manchester City because Man City is not as big as Man United and its was Rival of Man United.

just think like the real lives, it will help u sign a player...

4.When the results aren't good enough, finish the game without saving.

5.Start again load data and see point 3.

You need some patience but you can find out wich please are possible to get.

Sorry for the late reply but yes if they have 0 p. interesting you can never get them.
With Ajax I bought a player with 11 points so there is a lot possible you just have to keep trying.

That's exactly what I do! I know it's cheating, but in the broad scheme of things, sometimes you have to cheat. I recently tried to get Eto'o from Barca - I offered them 59,999 and offered Eto'o a hefty salary of 4,999 but he wouldn't come. That is until I sweetened the deal by giving them Hargreaves as well. Sometimes if money isn't an obstacle and you're giving them loads of it, throw in another player into the mix and most times that should work. Hope this helps.
