Getting other players to do free runs (PSP)

It seems that i have no skills playing PES if I cannot get my players to do free runs (without the ball) when I got the ball (in normal gaming mode, not "be a legend"). Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I couldn't score a single game in 2 (real) days and I'm just playing "Amateur" :crymore:

I'm in PSP, but PS3 controls might be fine as well I guess?
