hi there

i was wondering if someone could help me out with a big problem i'am having with this program that lets you edit graphics in pes 2009.

for some weird reason i find it impossible to get the graphics that i edit in a paint program onto the game, i can get the graphics onto the GGS itself, i save the image at the correct resolution, and the correct bit-depth of 8, and i know i'm putting the pictures in the right places to see them in game, i'm pretty certain i'm doing everything right in this program, only i'm very frustrated to see that none of my work will show up in game

if anyone knows how to work this program, please help me

i find it even more confusing and difficult to use any other program including the popular kitserver program, im sort of a beginner with this program, and also just started posting on this forum so i apologise if anyone else has had this problem and has been posted before, but i just can't see for myself anywhere on this forum, any other forum or any other web-site that can help me out, the tutorial i found on a pes fan site hasnt helped unfortunatley, so i'd really really appreciate it if someone can help me

i take it u are using the drag and drop method to insert yr PNG files

if so u need to insert a dummy file into an unused slot 1st to make the rest show as i noticed that the 1st drag that u do damages the files i always use unnamed 8340 the last kit slot in cv06 i do this every time i open ggs or any cv0? file

so open cv06
got to unnamed 8340
click black square - it opens in main window in ggs
then drag it back over itself this damages the file
which doesnt matter as it aint used
then you can drag n drop as much as u want in the cv06

if yr files are in other cv's then u will have to find an unused file in that cv and insert the dummy

what you did has worked! thanks very much

but this is the thing, i put english premier league badges over the original english badge which comes with pes 2009, i used your method, started up the game and the badge has showed up! but only when you go edit, and then league edit, you see the leagues there with the premier league badge there! fantastic! but when i go to the league play menu or exibition or team edit menu, the english league badges aren't there

does that mean that they are somewhere else at different sections other than the cv0a directory?

bazzaspark, i've been having the same issue as you, edited in ggs perfectly but didn't see anything in the game! very frustrating waiting hours for discs to burn only to be let down!!!

i'm gonna try the whole dummy thing now so will let you know if i get the same outcome as you.

ok, tried the dummy method and it didn't work. every cv i opened i copied a dummy first then edited and burnt but the burnt version was exactly the same as the unedited iso. i'm trying to re-edit the iso that i have from bollox, might this be why it won't work?

also bollox, how did you turn off the ability to edit teams on your patch?

just tried going into game graphic studio, and ive tried to put coca cola championship emblems into unnamed 361.bin in the cv05.img folder within the img folder in kitserver

with the 'dummy file' as mentioned in reply to my first messages, i cannot get a dummy file in the directory where ive tried to put coca cola emblems, therefore when i drag and drop the emblems simply into where they are situated, i start the game, and the emblems do not register onto the game properly

can anybody help please?

can anyone please help me? or at least tell me where i can get an unbroken unnamed.bin file to edit on and replace?
