I stumbled onto this under the player setting despite playing the game for so long. It looks like it is possible to turn the keeper's cursor on and off. I tried both on and off but cannot see any difference in the keeper performance. Can someone please enlighten the on and off function.

it allows you to control the keeper...i think you press L while holding Y / triangle button...then you can move the keeper around as you like.

Turn the cursor on in the settings screen.
When playing, Hold L1+Triangle to control the keeper. You can make him run to intercept the ball. Not sure if any buttons can make him jump or dive to save etc.

Wait, this function works only for goalkeepers.. GK Cursor OFF/ON.

So if you put it ON - you get a chance to control your own goalkeeper...

so wheres Ronaldo and Zidane come in picture..enlighten me..

If you change the camera type to "Player" and then on Player Settings hold L1, you can then select any player on your team to take control of.

HE IS RIGHT. As a GK myself, I just manually cursor lock on the keeper. It took me a while to get used to it since not a lot of people does it, and there are no manuals or trainings for GK controls. Now I can get a clean sheet, no problems at all.
