Kiraly? i was gona put his name forward. Hungarian guy, wears big ol' trousers IRL :-\ bit of a character but a fine keeper. Chilavert is a demon cos he can hit a free-kick but Van Der Sar is possibly the best for the price.

Canizares is a little bítch to play against - Valencia are rank on pes2 but he always saves enough of my shots. Oliver Kahn tho has made the best save ive ever seen on pes2 - i cant describe it but it was amazing. i almost couldnt believe what i was seeing !!! shame i couldnt do an instant replay - something i 100% want to see in pes3

I would go for Kiraly, Hedman, Zdravkov, or Stelea. They are excellent keapers, with great saves, and stuff like that. And, the most important, they are freelancers. Perfect to buy when starting the ML.

Oh, and don't forget Ricardo! He's brilliant. Always having troubles with him playing against Portugal. And he's a freelance to.

I've got Oscal as my 2nd choice Jimmy but when I put him in he does'nt seem to be half as good as David James. Buy British mate!!

I like to use keepers with the feed kick ability, as their kicks always seem to have a higher success rate of reaching one of your players, and not your opponents. As far as I know, James does not have that ability, so I prefer Cordoba really.

Good point mate. Never really looked for that when making a purchase. Normally just try to get the best shot stopper in town...... I think I'll have a look at the comparison when playing to see if your point works for me...

Oh, and I forgot to mention, his stats for free kick taking are incredible, so if you don't have anyone in this area, then Chilavert is someone who'll score for you as well as block the shots.

chilavert makes wicked saves , but also acts a bit barthez occasionally- he has let in some of the stupidest goals i have ever conceded
