Is Tafarel in there? I normally only use Chilavert and Robinson.
Is Higuita there too? Guess he must be. He should be able to do the scorpion kick, eh?

Have any of you bought Van Der Sar? If so, how much did you pay for him? I've tried but failed to sign him. Think I might have been trying to exploit his lack of club team!!:D :D

I don't know, maybe he's good in ML but I'm not going for it.

I've gone through so many keepers in my time on PES2 it's untrue. I'd hate to count how many points I've wasted. But I've narrowed them all down after testing to what I have found and in my opinion are the best 3 keepers.

1) Toldo (Not Free though)
2) Van Der Saar (Free)
3) Dida (Free)

All three are tall (always handy) to claim crosses etc and get down to those corners! I was particularly impressed with Toldo's handling. Van der Saar always seems to claw saves to safety away from oncoming strikers, and Dida is an all-rouner. Never tried Chilavert myself though. Me and a mate have a rivallry between our two teams and we're not allowed to have the same keeper (he has Chilavert). We always play 30 minute games (so many hours of my life!)

Here's the rerst of the people I've tried:

Peter Schmeichel - Gave away 2 penalties in first (& last) 3 games
Oliver Kahn - Twice. Shows that stats aren't always everything
Yashin - Bit short and DON'T let them shoot near post
Jennings - Same as above really
Cordoba - Not as good as stats suggest
Robinson - Parries too often, usually to attackers
Gilmar - Not as good as he was in PES1 (when he was king)
Buffon - Good, but makes unneeded dives
Maier - Bit short, German. Joking
Preud'Homme - Don't expect him to claim many crosses
I forget the rest

No one's mentioned Sorensen, have they? I have just moved up to iv 2 on hard and Sorensen has done a mighty job to get us there. Although I do have to keep coming back from 0-2 down...?!??! Maybe he's rubbsih or I am?

I have recently beaten Denmark in the world cup (on random form)
8-0, 10-0, 11-0, 12-0.

I think I just do well against them.
But I always lose to bloody Uruguay for some reason!

Weird! Sorensen just pulled off a brilliant double save in my 2nd ever game in div 2 on hard. He kept us at 1-0 when they were throwing the kitchen sink at us! By the way, mambo, you're avatar is way cool even if the sequel sucks!

Kernozenko, sub for Ukraine is superb compared to what is stats say he should be. He's so cheap, just give him a go!

I think you mean the sub Barcelona keeper.
He won't be freelance unless you are playing as Barcelona!

Very good keep

Dutruel- he is one of the free agents and very good he is my first choice goal keeper at the moment oh yeah and he is french if that helps, but and all round good keeper
