Im near the end of my first season with fulham and im in the europa final and 1 point off 4th with about 5 or 6 games left but ive not been able to buy anyone except Bellamy who i bought in jan window(proved to be a very good buy for an average team). Ive lost a few good players also in jan window most notably Schwarzer. Does anyone know of any good players who id actually have a chance of signing im after the following GK, DC and CM

Try the free transfer group; there's quality there for sure, but mostly in wide players and cf though. Also be on the lookout for any players who might have set their contract negotiations on hold in the second part of the season. They're free and good deals can be made this way. Just be sure to constantly be on the lookout for them since the good players will recieve early attention. You can find them by setting the contract lenght on 1-1 in advanced search.

this.I got Abdi(77) and Abelearas(spelling)(76) in my second season for peanuts

Centre back = Palmieri. Youth player who has levelled quickly for me if you play him and have good coaching levels, sign him up on a 5 year deal. Keep checking the transfer list and your scout recommendations too, often deals to be found there. I've discovered that the defence is the hardest to get how you want it, rarely on the transfer list and the good ones don't often want to leave their clubs.

Valencia went on transfer list for me so I pinched him off Man Utd. I've heard promsing things about Rodwell on the forum. Cattermole you should definitely look at.
