Don't know about the 23 inch but i've got me a samsung 32 incher contrast ratio 3000:1 with hdtv and hd ready its quite neat with colors and picture quality all amazing.

The Samsung models used on the 360 demo pods are being replaced by newer versions...so you can pick the originals ones up cheap now. I paid £1000 for the 32" a good while back and if you find them now they're usually around the £500 range.

go to www.empiredirect.com they have a 32 inch philips hdtv with dolby virtual surround and freeview for £699 got one last week. you can get it delivered for £15 quid or collect it free cos they have a few stores throughout the uk

Well if you use a regular tv to play with the 360, the graphics wont be any big differences from an orginal xbox. you just need a hd if youre going next gen.
And when you buy an hd be sure that the contrast ratio isnt as low as 1000-1 , it should atleest be 3000-1
