I've tried many of the oft-mentioned players and I'd give the edge to Rachmane Barry over Baumjohann for his height advantage.

I have found that Robinho is a bit sluggish and poor at bringing the ball under control quickly, and is shit at finishing.

Get Vanden Borre (CBT), his stats get far too good!

This thread will be more helpful if the contributors consider the time factor in the league. If you choose original team, you can replace 3 players (I recommend replacing Minanda, Ceciu and Barota) with any player receiving the same salary or less regardless of their existing contract. It isn't wise to replace them with a player who has 1 year left on his contract because you can snatch him the next season just by offering a higher salary than his club. My point is that it is better to come up with a plan to get as much players as you can with the least of money being paid. One player you can not go wrong with is Fabregas because he has a whopping 5 years left in his contract when I started the ML and he meets my demand for fast growth. Who are the other two? Someone needs to do some research.

Moutinho is cheap and improves quite fast too. All 18 & 19 year olds tend to increase exponentially so its nothing special really. I mean, its not like some increase more or faster than others, is it?

Ok I found 5 unknown players who grow well into the red part of the diagram.
Van Borre, Belgium, CB and DMF
Fabregas, Spain, CMF and OMF
Nasri and Ben Arfa, France, SMF, OMF and CF
Song Bilong, Cameroon, CMF
Most of the players mentioned before barely reach the yellow part of the growth diagram. I will check Muntari and Messi later. It took me a week to find these guys! Help?

Young player called Soler turns into a great player
Kim Heon Do <-- i think thats his name anyways
Search for japanese or Korean players they are all cheap and just pick the best out of there.

Harsh but pretty fair...I reckon that all the good unknown players have been found out.
To be honest I have found that as long as they are young enough and you play them loads they get pretty good anyway.
Friendlies and WEFA competitions seem to give you loads of exp points for players compared to regular league matches.

Something else that pisses me off is reborn players that have loads of 97s and a lot of really shit stats.
