What mode are you talking about? If in exhibition then no there isn't any fake youngsters in the teams.

If you're talking about master league, then I will have to look later for you, as didn't go into squad. But most probably will still have fake youngsters.

Yeah, I meant FL. Basically they populate the youth teams with players like Shimizu, and also real players (with fake young ages) that aren't assigned to a club. Then when players retire, they can come back as a 17 year old. It's fucking stupid! Youngsters should be randomly generate, even Fifa can do that!

They are called re-gens and they are players who have retired and come back to life. I think this is a good thing and it allows you to mold players and make the best out of them. Also, the youth team (fake players) are still in the youth team setup, but this time round, they have different names.

777 this is a question I'm sure a lot of the editors here want to know - whats the story with fake leagues?

I know there is the PES League which we usually make into the Bundesliga. But what is this WE League? Is this the new division 2? Or is it a new additional league?

Also what is the ML structure? Is it all of the leagues or is the Brazilian league separate entirely?

I think it's stupid. A youth system is good, but could they not put some sort of random generator system into the game? ie, it would create a completely random unique youngster. I think it's ridiculous when you've got a 17yr old Del Piero in your youth team.... and he still looks 35! It's INCREDIBLY unrealistic..... in that it's IMPOSSIBLE that this would ever happen in real life.

Did you play either of the PES demos and if so, is there much difference?

I played both demos. Obviously there isn't much difference from demo 2 but the gameplay feels more balanced and more polished. The players feel more whole, for example the big players feel more imposing on and off the ball with their physical presence.

Someone like yaya toure is horrible to play against because he's so tough to knock off the ball.

The passage of play seems more realistic than the demo, you feel more in control of whether you want to play with urgency or slow things down at your own will, rather than feeling like the game is taking you along with it's own pace.

And lastly the players faces have improved tenfold from the demo.

I noticed the pes league and I'm sure there is some other random WE league with teams made up from around europe. I don't really pay attention to the editing stuff, I usually leave that to the patch makers.

But I'll check for you tonight and get back to you on it and also check whether the leagues are separate in ML. But I think they are because they make it a point to ask you if you want to manage one of the copa teams or europe before starting master league.

No, it's not random, it's the likes of Shimizu, Kaiser and Schwartz that are the fake players that turn up. Yes they're made up, but they're not unique. I think some of the D2/PES lge players also turn up.

I mentioned PES being archaic in the demo discussion thread - and this is one of the reasons why. These young players have been in the game for almost 10 years! Isn't time for a change? Same with Castolo, Huylens etc. Sure, when they get old they're replaced, but it's only with a younger version of them albeit with a different name.

Yes hopefully, touch wood they haven't butchered MLO with the boots thing.

But game play wise I'm very happy with it. Pes12 I couldn't take the ref calling fouls which weren't fouls. I remember I done a standing tackle and won the ball cleanly in the area, yet the ref gave a penalty lol. Then there was the stupid through balls from the half line which managed to go through your entire defense. The arcade style pace of the match all just made me pull the plug on pes12 last year.

This year the fun factor is back while keeping hold of the realism aspect of the game.

You will get a few miserable sods next week complaining about nets, and the usual shit but I'm happy with it, konami have done a very good job gameplay wise. Let's hope they keep seabass out for good.

All the players are mean't to be refreshed. The created youth team players and the ML defaults.

Ok to answer some of your questions.

There is no Jamaica in the game. The WE league is for editing I presume as the teams included in there are custom made.

You can buy from the Brazilian league in master league and it's also incorporated in the league update structure menu when wanting to check results of teams within that league.

There are made up youngsters in the youth team in master league.

I don't like mak considering he's been a cunt to me all week so didn't bother checking bal mode for you

I didn't play the computer, but usually play top player but now can see you can select super star from the beginning.
