i think this i the year i should buy both games and choose whilst playing them which suits me best. i believe fifa is more showing off. pes will keep original id with creators of option files to give life to the game 'cause without them pesgamers would not exist.

If you can, buy both FIFA and PES! If you really had to choose only one game then I would recommend FIFA10. But, wait another week or two and PES2010 will be out, by then there will be plenty of Reviews, Pictures, Videos, Information and stuff like that and that may help you make the decision on whether to buy FIFA or PES.

Personally i see no reason why both can't be bought as they offer certain differences.
Personally i only ever buy one of the two, and that is PES. The main reason for this is because a mate of mine always buys Fifa every year which means i/we get to play both regardless of the fact that neither of us ever buy both. This can only ever be a bonus.
To be blatantly honest, the main reason i continue to buy PES every year is that i personally find i can play PES for most of the year (with the occasional dry spot), where as Fifa tends to simply bore me after a few months. This year i think Fifa is much more playable overall but it has yet to stand the test of time. As PES2010 isnt out yet i can only assume (atm) that it will still have its longevity factor...chances are it will though as thats one thing about PES that never seems to change for me personally.

I had been buying both games over the past few years.... but this year i can't get into fifa.... its got so many niggly things that over time become game breaking bugs...

as such i've been playing the WE demo and have fifa 10 sitting on the shelf. What I would suggest is to maybe rent both games then decide which one you like best..

I was tempted to get fifa but after renting it for a week im already bored ofit, i cant stand playing offline its so boring, and im bored off online now. While with pes i seem 2 be able 2 play it for most of the year on and off.

oh i forgot to add.. check out the official fifa10 forums see what they're saying over there about the game.. the last time i checked manager mode had 63 bugs alone...

If you always get PES get PES, if you always get FIFA get FIFA. I always get PES and my cousin got the new FIFA so I took his FIFA 09 and i've played about 15 games, a few online and about 10 against the computer and I would say its garbage compared to PES. So if you always play PES like me you'll probably come to the same conclusion.

Although I play about 9/10 matches of PES against other people, if you play it online or against the CPU then you might think different?

Yup. Only got money for one of them. And that's certainly Pes again. haven't bought a fifa game since 98, which was absolutely awesome.

I would reccomend renting both for 1 week or more and then decide if you really have money for 1 game only but I suggest you get both. Both are good in some way. But for me, judging by the demos, pes is more enjoyable as it grows on you.

i always get pro evo ,but this year time i got fifa 10,i wanted to try the bundesliga,brazilian and portuguese league,its boring after a fews games..even with all the collisions etc etc.online isnt bad....but pro evo is the real deal .the in game feeling is tbetter and the gameplay gives you more fight.thats ur money mate.if want a hint...choose pro evo.

PES 2010 AND FIFA 2010 , each this year has its unique own style of game .

FIFA - ALL Licensed, better gameplay over the past few years , especially in this 2010 version . if u are PES FANS , then don;t buy . Buy it if u like

PES 2010 , as promised .. most stuff is fixed. So as always PES always beat FIFA in gameplay except ENGLISH league never got licensed , soon but not now .

So buy PES 2010 for better gameplay and u can have all the option files and edit stuff later month from all users . gamingaccess.com gives u all of that .

FIFA buy it if u rich , it is by far the most successful version of FIFA . Gameplay is similar to PES this year , but remember they can;t never beat PES's gameplay

well i always buy both and fifa is great but its starting to piss me off, ive been sacked 3 times now cause a few games without a win, then i win a game and get sacked plus i started again played pre season with played stoke im manutd they beat me 2-0 and they were all over me. I couldnt get the ball now no offence to stoke but that wouldnt happan its sort of true when every team feels and plays exactly the same which is what pes has the indivuality where u feel in control of the team.

I was on xbox360. Ditched that and now have the PS3 slim, so will be getting ready to splatter PS3 dudes on the internet.
