I'm hoping Radio Ga-Ga won't be on the Classic Rock station, because it's shit.

I can't see them topping the classic rock stations from San Andreas and especially The Lost and the Damned.

I'm tired of the cliched characters. I like the third one though :lol:

They go on about diversity and intensity but I didn't see anything we haven't had already. Very little gameplay video there that gives us enough info. A lot of snippets look like pre-animted story scenes.

I hope the animals etc. don't get boring as quickly as I fear they might. They've got a great chance here to breathe fresh air into a series that has become repetitive and stale, I just hope they manage it.

I am wholly disinterested in a debate with anyone who thinks every GTA game is amazing and deserves 8.5/10 and above.

A black guy who doesn't rely on gang/street talk 99% of the tmie would have been a nice start. Sometimes, of course, but not all the time. Joel, for example.

Wouldn't it be nicer if the character descended into that world and changed how he spoke as the game went on though? It would aid with character progression durnig the story.

A good character concept would have been an African American who is surrounded by gang life but wanted to break away from that and become more educated than his family members. So, naturally he does use speak like a gang member but there are things that he still has to learn as the game goes on like how to use a gun and just conduct himself on the streets, which would be unnatural for the character.

One mention about the online, in the trailer she says 'Grand Theft Auto Online'...makes it almost sound like a separate game, could potentially be DLC (free).

I imagine it'll just be selectable from the main menu (or start menu, since GTA doesn't have one) like Metal Gear Online was for MGS4. As long as you don't pick it from the phone again!

With its own special name it does sound like there's going to be a lot more focus on it post-release with DLC and such.
