My opinion is that 60Hz looks much better. After playing on 60 for a while, 50Hz looks vertically squashed - a bit too much for me. Other people have said that the game runs faster on 50Hz but I haven't played on this mode enough to see it.

60Hz all the way for me.

60Hz IS better guys in every way you look at it. My TV supports 60Hz and I play all the games that have the option in 60 Hz.
and Zyg 60Hz runs faster I know that well. (my old TV didn't support it)

60hz is better form playing on ur ps2 games if your tv's supports it.

I think mines should now that I have read the manual, but I'm unsure of what PLUGS/ADAPTOR that are require to convert the signal.

My tv will support :-

Colour system:

PAL/NTSC4.43
(PAL/NTSC4.43.NTSC3.58 in AV mode)

Any clues peoples???????????????

thnx 4 the help m8 it doesnt seem to make a diffrence to me tho i still dribbling from playin the pes3 demo never mind the full game, witch comes out tomz YAY!

I got my tv last year its a SANYO 28INCH but when I stick it on 60hz it goes Black and white and I do notice that things seem that bit sharper, however its bloody b+w so is this blame thing an adaptor then ?

That means your telly isn't NTSC compatible. I have the same problem with an Amstrad tv.

Personally, i think it's worth buying a new Tv so you can play 60hz games (esp. fighting games), but then I've got more money than sense sometimes.
