Lebowski25: good on you mate :)

darkbright:
11)In 'patched dvdrip PES3' folder you will find the file 'SOCCER3.ISO' size-613 MB (643,690,496 bytes)
12)Copy this into new folder called 'tobepatchedPES3cdiso', you can delete everything that remains in 'patched dvdrip PES3'folder.

The instructions just let you know what should be there. Copy the file into the new folder and delete what it tells you to. Lebowski25 would know more about this stage than anyone here at the moment since he's done it so recently.

Nah, probably not.
Makes sure u burn with nero or whatever at a low speed, nero would be 4X, just do lowest possible.
Good Luck :)

Jimmy The Hammer, the pictures I posted were of the WE7 Reloaded patch which you can see threads for here in the Editing section.

The jonboyo patch at this thread is for PES3 and is the latest and best.
jonboyo will release a full patch in about a week which should be less complicated to patch then the one I just mentioned so it may be worth waiting for that.

Can't see the iso pic as it shows a tripod link instead.
So,do i have to wait for 1 week and not download this patch?

Can anyone tell me if you have to use the ''pes3cdretail'' patch when creating your first image of the game. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I used the 5.1.04 patch from lomungtungs FTP. Im using a fliptop, & when the game trys to boot up the screen just go's black!

Any ideas anyone??

'pes3cdretail'' patch means ANY patch for the retail version of PES3.
As opposed as patches for the beta version or those for WE7.

5.1.04 is great for this. If you then apply the 7.2.04 update, it'll be perfect.

Not sure why it hasn't worked for you. It could be anything from an error in making the CD-image to something in patching it.

I dont get it either. in my ''newpatchable'' bin folder i have created on my desktop, i hav a .cue & a .bin. my .bin is 704mb & my .cue is84 bytes. These are the correct size files right?
could it just be the burning thats the prob, & is there any way of checking the files are sound?
(please help zyg, you've been a top geezer 4 me so far)

Like I've said quite a few times to others before: Burn your unpatched CD image to check that it works fine and that the problem is elsewhere.

i've looked through my 5.1.04 file, & noticed it doesn't contain the pes3.bat, or the attributes.exe. I have now got these files from another source. Can I just copy them in to the 5.1.04 file?

& finally, when u run dvdscan, after u have scanned the file, do you then have to select the ''patch'' option, or just run the scan & leave it at that?

Andy Jeal - Sorry I didn't see your question. From your other post I assume you have sorted it now? Not sure what you were trying to do up there. 5.1.04 is just the patch which you apply to the bin.

i know how to do the patching now i just have 1 question about why it wont work for me.

when i first use the pes3 dvd disk and extract the files onto the hard drive it says there are unreadable sectors or errors for loads of the bits of data on the disk most from the file data_e.afs-is this normal, does it happen for everyone?
when it happens you get a choice of ignore retry or quit and for some sectors no matter how many times you retry it wont read it, if i ignore some will it make a difference .

if i ignore the unreadable sectors, later on then when i try to extract data_e.afs from the bin to patch it it says that it cannot read the data, so i cannot patch it

i would be grateful for some help plz

Are you folowing the guide from the first post of this thread?
Is it during one of those steps that you get an error message?

Try cleaning your DVD with some soft cloth (like a glasses-cleaning cloth) from the centre to the edge in straight lines. Then try to follow the guide at the start again. And let us know which steps come up with errors.

Did u actualy press the red iso thing on isobuster, because the error thing came up when i just extracted track 1.
I then put the dvd into the cdrw drive and the red iso appeared. Everythibg was fine after that
