Ok...I've tried a lot of times but it still can't work, is there any other way to get the ripped image other than this?

faced the same problem at first, but realised soon enough that I was running CDmage, NOT CDmage beta.

Worked like a dream once i got CDmage beta. Methinks you're facing the same problem. Try downloading CDmage beta.

BTW, thanks for your reply, Larsson. I got it working soon after.
But now the burnt disc refuses to load on my PS2, its modded, one of those earlier ones where I have to change settings for playing DVDs and CDs...quite a hassle. Bugger refused to work with any setting.

Any idea?

Have you scanned the image with CDMage or ECCRegen ?

You need another tool that can extract from DVD images, perhaps CDRWin or Clone DVD, dunno.

WE7 is not on DVD, you don´t need to rip that ! This is a "PES3 only" thread.

a friend helped me to patch WE7 onto a DVD, just change the words in chinese. i scatch my original cd and not it is not working so i wonder if it is still possible to patch using my dvd copy?

i am wondering if i can just use cdrwin to extract the track from the dvd
thanks!

the reason is that my mod set makes a loud whirling noise when i play a patch version on CD, therefore i put we7 on the dvd. in general my question is that given we7 on a dvd, can i still patch?

thanks alot even if you can't help! appreciate ur prompt response

Hmm, that´s strange. I understand now, but I don´t know if CDRWin works with DVDs and I cannot test it coz my WE7 is on CD. You could try with CloneDVD, but I cannot help you here coz I don´t have this program.

9)In this folder double left mouse click on 'Attributes.exe' then in pop up click on set attributes

Then run dvdscan2 to remove the dvd check on the 'SLES_519.12' file.

If for some reason your missing these files "IOPRP271.IMG" and
"DNAS271.IMG" download them and stick them in the folder
I have uploaded "IOPRP271.IMG" and
"DNAS271.IMG" here:

http://server2.uploadit.org/files/281003-IOPRP271.IMG

http://server2.uploadit.org/files/281003-DNAS271.IMG

Just wondering what these files were and why they wouldn't be there in the first place!

I have the IOPRP271.IMG in the IOP directory.. is this correct?

I don't seem to have the DNAS271.IMG file do i need to put it in the root directory or the IOP? Also do i need to remame it after downloading (ie. remove the'281003-')?

Cheers

Hi philmccrackin69.
I added a [ quote ] and a [ / quote ] at the start and end of your message to make it a proper quote. (Do this without the spaces) It's easier to read now. If you click on the 'reply' button in the bottom right corner of another post, your post will automatically begin with a quote of the whole post - you can delete the bits you don't want to quote.

OK. I ripped my PES3 DVD today using the method above. It works perfectly. I don't know why those 2 files weren't copied but that's the way it goes, I suppose. I copied the 2 mentioned files into the root directory and didn't rename them. Been playing on the new jonboyo patch this evening and it kicks ass :)

I didn't see the 2 files in the root so I copied them in. Everything else went perfectly.

The only slight mistake in the guide above is that in step 15, it should say "mode2/2352" instead of "mode2/2353" but that's just a small thing.

Yes. Chipped or modded, as mentioned in jag87's "Methods to play...." thread which is a sticky.
The cheapest mod is about £45.

Hi zyg, what mod would you use if u did'nt hav a chipped ps2?
and when you burn the disc on nero for the patch i assume you make a data disc yes?

I'm not sure but I'm very happy with a Messiah 2 chip (from www.thebarras.co.uk).
jag87 would probably recommend a Slide Card. I think I would have gone for a flip-top lid but I'm not sure.

When burning, you need to burn it as an Image. You need a .cue and a .bin to do this. This is different from a data disk. Hope it makes sense.
