Sorry to ask a stupid question but I'm kind of lost here. Is this guide for PS2 DVD and not for the PC version of PES3?

Yes, this ripping guide is only for the PS2 version.

I assume the DVD check remove stage makes it so that the PC doesn't ask for the original to be placed into the DVD drive?

If you don´t remove the DVD check with DVD Scan then your game will freeze after the PS2-Logo.

This guide is for PS2. Why don´t you try it with the PC-version ? I think it will be even easier with the PC version.

When patching using the Ppfomatic 3..how long should it take for the patch to work successfuly. (i used the Pes3 bin file and used the jonboy 22.11.03 patch) i applied the patch but it has been nearly and hour with the glass hour cursor hanging over it.
has it freezed..or the PPfomatic is still patching the bin file?

It does take a while but only about 30 seconds for me. If it's taking longer, that can't be a good sign. Scrap the bin by deleting it. Copy your original bin and try patching it again.
Use the Force to make it patch properly

It should take about 2 minutes with the jb22.11., I think it was 3-4 minutes with the wedoit3 for WE6FE.

i created a new PES3 cue. i tried patching it with the jb22.11.03 patch...still didnt work(kept on haveing the hour glass cursor), before that i tried a smaller ppf patch which successfuly worked onto my PES3bin. Could it be the jb patch i downloaded corupt? when i was at step 9 of this thread guide" set attributes"...i got an error message..i proceeded to step 10..using dvdscan that worked.everything else worked except the attribute part of the ripping guide?

hey! after i've got the soccer3 file in the form or rar file instead of soccer3.ISO and i couldn't use the CDmage to open it ..anyone can help me with this problem?
