zygalski i finally downloaded a non-corupt version of the jb22.11.03 patch. i created a bin and cue file and successfuly applied the patch. But when i tried burning the bin file...nero wont let me burn the bin because the file is to big. Im using a 80min 700mb cdr...i noticed the file is 704mb. Is there anysteps which i might of mis- looked?

Also in part (9) double click "attributes" afterwards i got run time error message..so instead i unchecked all the attributes of the files manualy one by one?

If you select it Burn As Image in Nero it should burn bin files up to around 800MB with no problems.
Don't burn it as data, burn as image. Should work then.

Not sure about part (9), mine did as the guide said.

Nah, the wizard is what I use too. Just make sure you burn at the slowest speed possible. That's it. It should take around 20 minutes.

Hi is it okay to apply the following patch - pes3rcdjb17.10.03.ppf, by itself, only when I read the doc file attached in the zip it states that the ppf is an update? Do I have to apply a previous patch before hand or should it be okay.

This was in the doc file actually said -------

"pes3rcdjb17.10.03.ppf
15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf - updates pes3rcdjb15.10.03.ppf’d bin to pes3rcdjb17.10.03
so apply pes3rcdjb 15.10.03.ppf then 15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf to same patched bin.

is a ppf for PES3 retail cdrip-
use alcohol 120% (or cdrwin) to create a bin and cue file---"

The following pic is now attached, as per my previous posts

15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf - updates pes3rcdjb15.10.03.ppf´d bin to pes3rcdjb17.10.03
so apply pes3rcdjb 15.10.03.ppf THEN 15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf to same patched bin.

so effectively I need to download the previous patch - which is 15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf, patch it to my original bin file then apply another patch - 15.10to17.10updatepatch.ppf an apply that on top?

so I'm double patching it?

you need the 15.10., then apply the update over it.

When I look on that error message it seems somehow strange to me, I think the PAL-Retail-Confusion is not the original game, it´s a downloaded copy. Like I said before to another person, although it should work with every version, I can only guarantee that the ripping guide works with the ORIGINAL version of the game. I´m not quite sure about this
I heard from different people about problems ripping the downloaded game.

i used the nero wizard..you said not to burn as data so instead i went to "other cd formats"---> "create cd from image file". Opened my pes3 .bin file (704mb) then appeared a prompt "foreign image setting"
Type of image - mode 1
raw data unchecked
Block size 2048
save file into cd-r drive
then i recieved a prompt "there is not enough space to burn image"

Before burining the bin file.....what is the size of the bin meant to be after patching ..mine is 704 mb..is that for everyone..or is it meant to be under 700 mb?

The image should have 721 MB if you have an original copy of the game and used jonboyo´s ripping guide.
Be happy that you couldn´t burn, you saved the life of a CDR :) You have to burn in mode 2 not 1.
btw I wouldn´t use Nero for burning bins, take CDRWin, or even better, Fireburner.

hmm i recieved that same message "done is not recognized as a interenal or external command" i proceeded applied the patch it worked successfully...but hmm for some reason i cant burn the image because it is to large? maybe it is due to that error message?

imusing the ripping guide set on this thread..hmm it might be a better alternative for me to use that jonboyo guide? yeh my bin is 721mb when i place my cursor over it..but when i check properties its size 704mb(739,???,???)bytes

Maybe. Take other tools than Nero for burning and there shouldn´t be any problems.

What is this message about: "PAL-Retail-Confusion" ?
I didn´t have this, and I also have the original game. So you must be doing something wrong.
A lot of people downloaded the DVD version and some of them had problems using this ripping guide.

ok, I´ve checked it now, "PAL-Retail-Confusion" seems to be correct. Go on and ignore the error message, patch your game and if it works then everything is fine, if not than let us know.

robinho17, you're not using the correct option to Burn As Image. Which version of Nero are you using?

If you're using Nero 6, do this:
1. Open Nero,
2. Click on Nero Express.
3. Click on 'Disc Image or Saved Project' (bottom option).
4. Locate your patched PES3 folder.
5. Click at the bottom where it says 'Files of type' and choose "All Files (*.*)" (last option).
6. Click on the .cue file of your patched PES3.
7. Last bit now. Change the writing speed to minimum and then click on 'Next'' (bottom right).

->It will now burn.

If you have Nero 5.something let me know and I'll try to remember the process.

zygalski im using nero 5.5.1.8

i tried using crdwin..it was burning onto my disc..i loaded up the cue file, left everything as default, then clicked on record start...it took me around 20-25 mins using 1X speed Is this correct? If so..all i gotta do now is chip my PS2..cant wait!!hope it works!

oh yeh the size of burnt file on my cd-r is around 644,977,696 bytes(614mb)...is this similar to yours zygalski, larsson using the jonboyo 22..11.03 then that 22 to 27th update?

Sounds good to me.
You're going for a chip then. Not interested in any of the other methods available to play it?
