hmm i just wanna do the safest and best way of playing a cd-r..i dont care to much on cost! And any ways im not very good at practical things..so i dont wanna stuff up my PS2 "my pride and joy"

which method do you use Zygalski..i just looked at the options...the slide card looks the most affordable and safest..just unsure weather to order it from the U.S since im in Australia.

If you don´t worry about the money then go for a chip and forget the slide-card. It´s not the safest method, it´s the opposite. Imagine you have to open your CD tray at full speed, it´s like opening the door of your car when you´re on the highway. Nothing happens 100 times and on the 101st attempt you´re under your car :D. A friend of mine had to buy a new console a few weeks ago because he didn´t want to listen to me. ;)
I heard there were some problems with PS2-chips Down Under, hope you won´t have any problems to get your console chipped in Australia.

hmm thanx for the advice larsson, it's just there is a big difference in price. $75 Aus (slide card with shipment from U.S) to messiah 2 chip $160 installed. Though selling modchips in Australia is illegal from 1 yr ago. The worst thing that is putting me off from getting a chip..is how can i trully determine say i get a messiah..that it is one and not some generic cheap brand?

Well, on the one hand we have the slide card, which CAN but MUST NOT damage your console, I know a lot of people with slide-cards and they are working perfectly for them, but I also know a few people that got their consoles damaged by the card. I just wanted to warn you ;)
On the other hand we have a chip, you would have to find a shop in the UK that delivers to AUstralia, then you would have to sent your PS2 in and wait till they chip your console and sent it back. Maybe you find a shop in a bigger city in Australia that will do it for you :confused:
The third solution would be a flip top, it costs a little bit more than the slide-card, but is a lot cheaper than getting the console chipped. Plus you can easily install the flip top for yourself. Unfortunately I don´t know anyone with a flip top, the best thing would be to contact jag about this.

6)On left side where it says iso in red,RIGHT click->choose extract...find new folder on desktop called pes3dvd. i don't have the red icon that says iso

Firstly, this is my first post!!

2 questions -

1)Can someone tell what I need to do to burn the image using Nero version 5 or tell me of any other better program and where to download them from

2)Do i actually burn the BIN file or the CUE file or both

1) You can burn it with Nero if you want, but I would recommend Fireburner or CDRWin

2) The cue contains some infos about the bin, normally you give your burning program the location of the cue and it loads the bin automatically. They must be in the same folder. But you can burn without the cue as well.

yes i definitely would take larsson advice on using cdrwin for burning..if you have nero 5 and not nero 6 ... cdrwin was simple and quick to use.

The Nero 5 wizard makes it easy to burn images too. You just have to know which one the Image option is. Each to their own. Good luck.

got messiah 2 pro.

You can burn a bin file of around size 850MB onto a standard 700MB CDR so all the patched PES and WE7 should burn fine as long as you 'Burn As Image'.

Thax zygalski and larsson for all yah helps..i got a messiah 2 installed on the weekend..works fine..and most importantly the 1.12.03 JB patch works..i love it..makes PES3 99.9% perfect..Zyg what other patches would you recomend other then Jb...i really wanna get a patch like WE7 brasil patch fbut for Pes3.

jb is the best patch I know of so far. Did you use the update patch too?

Keep an eye out here and at evo-web for the latest patch info.

I took this from one of Larsson's post. Is this correct, or as you said, with Cdmage beta clicking "Save As", we can modify. Please help me, i just lost one night's sleep trying to sort this out, and waiting for Jonboyos last patch download (huge and slow, don´t you think?).

Help needed... :(

I don´t understand what you exactly need, but perhaps the screenshots will help you, follow them to get the ripped bin file

Which update Zygalski? I have DL 22.11.03 JB the 22-->27 update JB and the recent one 1.12.03 JB patch..if you are refering to the 22-27update..i thought the 1.12.03 patch already included that update since it was made latter?

Ive got we7 patched with the brazil patch.. its a great patch!!
ive heard they maybe releasing it for pes3 also. :)

Stupid questions here!!!!

Where is this Monster thread? I've looked in all the threads, didn't find it. Is this better than Jonboyos 2/12/03 AnyRipkit Patch? After instaling this patch to the DATA_E.AFS, it says to replace the OVER.AFS file in the patch with the one in the burned bin7cue. When i import the file in CDmage, a message comes up: " The file is bigger than the original, do you want to continue? (something like this)". What do i do? Please help !!!!

It's the JB22.11.03pes3 'MONSTER' is out! thread ;)

You're meant to leave CDMage open when you extract something. Then patch whatever it is and then go back to CDMage and Import the part back to where it was. My guess is you should say "yes" to continue. Can't hurt, can it?
