a)Uncompress your KF rip kit rar to give you a folder of files.
b)Copy all of these files and paste into the previously created folder (c:\PES4DVD)

Where Is That Step!?! Stuck already, could someone please help out. I cant seem to find 'KF rip kit rar'.

These are attached at the bottom of the first post. Choose the language you want. That is the rar file. Just uncompress it.

i downloaded all the programs needed. but there is no 'KF rip kit rar' actually there and i couldnt find it within the files. i managed to complete steps 1-3.

I have a question can you make your own patch then use the rip kit so it fits onto cd-r i have ran out of dvds. its ok i got it working.

Right I'm having the same problem as some of the other guys here...

I have followed the guide step-by-step, as I have done for WE8 and PES3 which both worked, so I expect the cd to work. Put it into my PS2 and boot up...all is going ok and the Playstation 2 logo comes up then black screen, then browser(showing my mem card and PS2 disc)...I have came to the conclusion that my laser is knackered and cant read the cd properly might be the same for some other people here...

But if there is any advice it would be most appreciated...

My problem is similar to this, only I don't even get the PlayStation 2 logo appear...it just goes from my swap magic screen to the ps2 browser.

Reading through this thread, I can't seem to find an answer. People are suggesting that the jonboyo patch with the swap magic method doesn't work with CDRs....so is this right...is there any way to get it to work?

Or is it indeed to do with the laser.

Anybody tried this with the new swag magic 3.3 disks, do they work?

I have recently got swap magic 3.3 and used with a patched DVD copy of PES4 using johnboyo's patch and it works fine.

now, i have got up tp step 6 and i have dl johnboyos patch from piratebay, and also got bitlord and winRAR, but i dont have a clue what to do now. When i go on ppf_o_matic it says it is no valid ppf file, in other words how do u convert it to ppf file???
Any help is gretaly appreciated, cheers...

Then you need to follow the basic patching guide first and not try this method until after you have patched it. It's in the sticky thread above.

for games i recomend alcohol 120%, also Nero is a good all purpose one if not the best all round. I use a combination of the two normally.

ok, now i burned it but it didnt work, but i didnt do steps 7 and 8, there was no export, import or replace in apache 2...

9a) Open CDmage. Open the ripkit ISO as mode1/2048.

b) Click File.. Save As.. and change the mode to mode2/2352

What is the ripkit ISO. Is it the KF_PRO_EVOLUTION_SOCCER_4_ENG file in (C:\PES4DVD)

Step 5 tells you what your ripkit ISO is.
It is a .ISO file made after step 5.

I have DL'ed a trail version of alcohol 120%, but the slowest burning speed is 8x, is this ok?

no way not even the best modchip can do that you need to do 2x at maximum dude. I would suggest looking for something else.
