Guide to Patch PES4 and burn it to a CD.

Like I said, this process takes several minutes to make the ISO so if it only took 2 seconds, something has gone wrong earlier, either due to you or your PC.
Delete everything and start again.

Yeah, i started again, after deleting everything, and the same thing happened, its probably, this damn PC. Hopefully my cousin has a DVD burner, so i can burn it to DVD tomorrow.

should do mate, i just had swap magic, played patched WE8 on my Ps2, superb. Bit fiddly at first but you get the hang of it

Hello Zyg, I am having a few problems with number 9 of your excellent instruction list

9.
a) Open CDmage. Open the ripkit ISO as mode1/2048.

b) Click File.. Save As.. and change the mode to mode2/2352

This will give you a .bin and .cue with the bin being about 825MB in size.
Yes you can burn this onto any standard 700MB CDR - just be sure to use the Burn Image (or Burn As Image) option in your burning software (Nero etc). Do not burn as data.

I have done all the above but i dont seem to get a .bin and .cue file afterwards. I get another image called "TOA". I cant seem to locate a bin or cue file after extracting.

I have done it now. Now for the next problem, it will not load on my PS2 using swap magic for some reason, even after i tried the refresh TOC trick. It keeps coming up with "not a PS2 format disk". Any ideas?

oh wait, it doesn't work, does it?

I've mentioned that the ripkit isn't perfect but it does work with the patch I mentioned. So either you're doing something wrong or I don't know.

hi..i recently patched my PES4 using the jonboyo's 30-10-04 patch and it worked..but during gameplay the music only plays for about 30-40 secs and then it stops..so erm..any solutions??

The same happens on mine. Guess the ripkit cuts the music so it can fit on the CD. Nothing to worry about. If you want full music and sound you'll have to patch and burn onto dvd.

When it comes to swapping the o_text file in Apache2, it doesnt let me. Says that the files are two sizes? Any suggestions? Will this seriously affect my patch?

When I rip this step:

a)Uncompress your KF rip kit rar to give you a folder of files.
b)Copy all of these files and paste into the previously created folder (c:\PES4DVD)

I get a folder of files with 0KB file size and then there is no PES_4_PAL_Rip_Engine.exe from step 5

How did you uncompress the ripkit rar? Using WinRAR will give you a folder containing the files.

Uncompressed the .RAR with winRAR.

I get two files

ggfr-pes4 and a readme file

when I run the ggfr-pes4 file, it extracts a whole load of files to the C: drive, but all the files are 0kb and I don't get the PES_4_PAL_Rip_Engine.exe

Sorry to be nuisance but i've been sitting here for 6 hours trying to figure it out and i've thrown in the towel
