According to manutd.com (very objective!), Pique is "an elegant defender."

if the time cums wen darren fletcher is manure captain i think arsenal and chelsea will b laughin. rossi and pique are only 16 and 17 repsectively so lets keep this in2 perspective, there no freddie adu or wayne rooney! lee martin and spector ive neva seen 2 b honest so i cant comment (ive neva seen them play 4 england side tho so i doubt they can b that gr8) but that little list of players will hardly leave arsenal and chelsea fans shaking in there boots fearin manure will dominate the premiership in the future with those young players. cristiano ronaldo i will admit is a very talented young player but is far from bein the finished article, but ok he is still only 19 so within the next few years he cud turn in2 a truly special player if he learns wen 2 do his skills and wen not 2 and matures as a player. the only 'excellent' young player fergie has bought, IMO is cristiano ronaldo and lets face it that cost him a bomb!

Reyes backtracks a lot and is a far better defensive player than ronaldo, and he had played 4 sevilla on the left wing 4 all of last season until he joined arsenal so 2 cum in and score more goals than ronaldo is pretty impressive in my book considerin he had less than half the time. also, its not easy 4 a player 2 cum in2 this arsenal side, in particular the attack and b able 2 improve it or make a rly impressive impact and score goals esp cumin from la liga havin just turned 20 yrs of age and not bein able 2 speak the language at all!!

real madrid also wanted 2 sign him and made a few serious attempts 2 along with barcelona. yes portugal have deco (a vastly over-rated divin,cheatin little shit), figo( a very gud but equally very inconsistent and grumpy player) and rui costa (who is still a gud player but hardly gr8) while spain just have the likes of raul,morientes,mista,joaquin,exteberria,vicente,torres,luque,tristan,valeron,xabi alonso,xavi etc so im sorry 2 say it but ur talkin bollocks m8!
