Free stuff is good, but free Top Gun stuff is way awesome! Hot on the heels of the "I Am Murloc " downloadable content release is a new piece of DLC for Guitar Hero 3 on the Xbox 360 and PS3 that celebrates the Fourth of July spirit.

The DLC in question is the Top Gun Anthem, and will be made available for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 beginning July 3. If you're wondering what the Top Gun Anthem is all about though, we found a YouTube video (which we've placed below) that should refresh your memory.

I got that Coldplay songs track....ehhh yellow is the best of the three but honestly it was a waste of money to get the songs.
