Well I've played 3 games, passing is amazing, response if bafflingly good, man its just so sweet. Shooting is great.

Ok, having played like 5/6 more games, I can easily say this is the best game I've ever played, ever ever ever. Remember that's just on friendlies, no cups, edited kits, nothing!
The boots are:
Red Predators
Lunar Predators
Black Predators
New Adidas SuperNova boots
Another new Adidas boot
An older Adidas boot
And the usual Nike Air Zoom rip offs, etc.
The boots look much better, though I can't remember if they had actual studs.
Kit textures are brilliant, look superb, not the designs I mean the actual way the kit hangs and creases.
The pitches are all amazing, the shooting is fantastic, the passing is magic, I can't really put the gameplay into any more words, bad shirt tugging gone completely, etc. Manual replays are great if you're quick enough to select them after the ball has gone by (yes even if it's gone by the post you can still get them if you're quick). The new "dramatic" replays are absolutely fantastic.
Player likenesses, even for those with non-real faces as default, is astounding, you know who everyone is from miles off.
And the Brasilian flick, oh my that flick . When the ball is coming to you at shin height or knee height, you press and the opposite direction, FFS it looks so amazing when you skin someone with it.
I've had like 5 red cards already. The advantage thing is brilliant too, used very well. No more tackling someone cleanly then them falling over you and getting a FK either, that's fixed as well.
Everything is just astounding!
2 Greek clubs, not AEK. I saw Anderlecht, Betis, I'm sure Celta Vigo as they had a light blue home kit and were sandwiched in between Valencia and Betis, Real Sociedad there too.

Another thing - it seems to be so different when you play as Man Utd vs Everton than as Betis against Lazio, I mean it's like a completely different match each time, feels so different.

it's too early to give marks out of ten, I've only played like 8/9 games. The sound is bloody fantastic though, the gfx are so much nice, and the gameplay is dreamy.

Dribbling is very doable, but not nearly as easy as before, seems perfect at the moment but we'll wait till I've played more before that's confirmed .
The AI is great, awesome player movement, great defensive positioning, I swear the CPU changes it's style mid-game, that's what it feels like.
Play on 5 stars, challenging, really depends on teams as well.

Yeah at the moment unfortunately the menus are horrendous, because there's so much Japanese text.
I can't figure out how to set my awareness and set mentality to manual, etc. What I think I've seen is you can set that "A, B, C" thing for individual players now as well.
Man it's hard, I have been beaten a few times now.
Celta Vigo definitely in game. Veron is great everytime I go Man Utd he runs the show

Wow, ok I'm back after some great playtesting.
Fluidity is huge, no more having to worry if a player has the "first touch" ability, everyone can decently handle the ball. Passing is phenomenal, using the O button is great for on the fly through passes, I really haven't found the need to use L1+Triangle all that often.
Through balls and regular passes still curve like in 6FE but in a much better way. Players can also finally receive the ball in stride correctly... I can't tell you how great this feature is.
The size and weight of a player really matters now. Big players win balls without any sort of cheating (CPU cheating or soccer cheating) either by being physical or out jumping. Tackling results in many squirting deflections that can really open up the midfield.
Speaking of the midfield there are huge midfield battles and the CPU not only gets back to defend but recovers into the right locations, instead of just falling back to the outside of the penalty area as in 6FE. Very fun, and the first time the CPU puts the roulete on your player you will a.) get faked out; and b.) love it.
Acceleration is apparently a huge statistic that has large effect on gameplay. Players do not hit their top speed right away, which is just great. Cutting back and forth is much riskier as players with low acceleration struggle to regain speed. However, what's neato is that players adjust their dribble to how fast they are running. No more trying to move slow only to have a turn knock the ball way out in front of you. All under some sort of control now.
One thing that sucks is the slowdown. There is a lot of slowdown on replays (you know, all those great ones with all the special effects).
Any way, back to playing more later.
Can't give much information about features outside gameplay. Being that the menus are in japenese and frikkin huge... well you get the picture.

Well, I actually saw a real breakaway goal. Fookin Ronaldo beat an offside trap and had miles to go before chipping the goalie with a deft touch.
Also, the speed at which play can turn around is outstanding. Pace is really in the game, it snice to be able to play with many styles.
One thing I have noticed which will really change my play is that being patient inside the 18 isn't recommended anymore. In all the WEs previous, taking time in the area was easy and recommended as doing a few cuts will get on an easy shot.
Not in WE7, it is much more advised to shoot quickly (as your players can actually score some spectacular goals off of volleys and one-time shots this time 'round) and give it a real go than try to jink left and right until really getting the perfect shot. Because in this game, you won't get the perfect shot, the defence will get back and they will make you pass.
A bit more like real footy... ah its so great.

well ive played 5 games now, its q.good, but not "best game ever" etc etc, some of the kits look ok but others are just pain shocking all black kits are off-grey and the ref's kits are pretty shoody. The roulette move looks nice, but im not convinced it adds that much to the game, making R3 passes so much more un-user friendly was a big step back. Its also a bit like the computer want more control of my team eg at corners i press pass but it still shoots (either that or does a shocking pass). All but one of the games ive played ahev ended 0-0 after normal time and gone to extra time and usually a golden goal. Dont slide tackle its virtually a free kick every time.... but those are just the negative points ive picked up on there are many positives.

when the ball goes out, there are no huge words that pop up in the middle of the screen ie. offside
you can now move your player when its a throw in, even when the cpu is making a sub. (a bug in the previous versions)
i done one of those flicks over the shoulder. not sure how you do them exactly, but i chested it into the air and i pulled back the opposite way on the d-pad and whilst the ball was by his knees he flicked it over his shoulder into space. sweeeeet!

I scored one of the best goals I've ever scored last nite, ball into PK box was headed out, bounced once, and Nedved struck a first-time volley from 25 yards into the top corner, man I've never marked out so much for a goal for years! I mean, it was a proper first-time volley .
In the same game the ball broke to Nedved at a 90 degree angle to goal, 25 yards out again. This time he lashed it first-time (man, the first-time shooting is easily one of my favourite things about WE7 ) into the far left-hand corner, about half-way up the net.
Also, one thing I've not seen anyone comment on, the nets are so bloody lifelike, if the ball goes into the corner it then "rolls around the back" if you know what I mean.
Yeah there is slowdown on some of the dramatic replay angles, what makes it so apparent is usually towards the end of them it speeds up again because less stuff is on-screen. What they should have done was limit the FPS on these angles to like 30, keep it all the same anyway. A lot of the dramatic replays are smooth as well mind, just your luck, and no matter what they look brilliant, much better than any previous version.
Fenerbache are in the game too.
Edit mode, all I know so far is there's call names for "PES United" and "WE-something". You can choose to have a badge on your kit in the middle, left, or right-hand side of the chest, or have no badge (thinking of the editing folks ). You can choose to have the number on the shorts on the left or right, or again, off completely.
I have to comment on the pitches, I think all my games have been during the day but bloody hell the pitches are stunning. Old Trafford feels like Old Trafford, etc. Anfield is cool, the nets look like they do irl, like a squared-pattern but with the lining round the sides and back. My favourite so far has to be the Delle Alpi, feels like you're really there - it's magic! I can't wait to see what they're like at night .
The overhead flick move is amazing btw, I've hardly used the 360 spin as I'm getting into the game but it looks great and looks as if it could be used effectively. After repeated pressing of , it's now much easier to jink left or right after the step-over if you're using a good player. That's another feature of WE7, the players and teams really behave like they should. I went Deportivo and Celta Vigo arsed me, whereas I went Real Sociedad and I ripped Man City to shreds, with a 32-yard De Pedro rocket FK and 2 strikes from Nihat, one of which was stunning as he jinked one way then the other, beating two players before curling a LOW shot from 20 yards into the corner . Oh, and Ajax also arsed me when I went Sporting Lisbon .

As far as we know, WE7 and PES3 will be almost identical in most ways.
You win 50 "WEN" (the currency) for each match you play.
You go to the shop to buy stuff for values of 100,150,500,1000 and 10000. Since most of it is in Japanese, it's not too easy to tell what you are buying. I'm guessing that the most expensive item is the player transfer option.
Brazilian players have REAL names! No more Roberto Larcos.
Czech national team players have fake names so not all teams have the real names.
There is longer to wait for loading than in previous games but it isn't too long.

I have played WE7 now.
The manual R3 pass needs to be done while holding down the R3 button which does make it more difficult. Rotating R3 without holding down the button does the 'Zidane turn' move.
A Czech player tried this move in the middle of the pitch and ran ahead while leaving the ball behind!
