We played till the last mission on Legendary, but we didn't bother finishing it. I went into theater mode after and the game recorded the whole session for some reason :huh:. Two of the films were over an hour long. :shocking:

I got some cool screenshots out of it.

Oh sweet Jesus, that was the best gaming experience I've ever had. It was the first online game I played too. I remembering staying up till all hours my first time playing it. Nothing will come close to what that game was like.

It was fantastic. Up to the point of release I've always wanted such a game. BF2 was very good too (Vietnam was meh), but 1942 was a milestone. I remember playing Omaha Beach endlessly, as well as playing it on D-Day itself and feeling extremely well killing the Germans :smug:

The first online game I remember was on a dial up PC and it was Delta Force. How we used to have absolute laughs with this game. We would go into knives only rooms with machine guns and the hosts would go fucking spare. It lagged like an absolute swine and you had to aim your bullets two seconds in front of an enemy. The maps were massive and it was a great experience.

Played Halo again last night and me and my little Troop love it. I can't see us getting bored for a long time yet.

Unfortunately I've never had the pleasure of playing Delta Force, but my brother in law has some great memories of it.

Again, probably the best multiplayer experience you can have on a console; Halo 3.
